This Coolness

I love to get to snoop around people's dressing tables, it is just so cool to see all the little collected treasures and prized pretties that people have.

This one really caught my eye. I'd be rather happy to have a sliver of this coolness going on.

On Show

....this v.cool pad over at Design*Sponge this week? It's really feeding into my current mind set.

I've been busy scouring the pages of Gumtree for local vintage cane, and collating a rather large collection on my favourites list. I've got my 60's patio (and my budget!) in mind.

But that first image with the cluster by the bed is helping me visualise some options for that safe problem I mentioned in my last post. The other option is leave it on show, as if I need to access it so regularly to deposit my diamonds and rubies that it would be totally impractical to cover it : )

Hope all the sandgropers are enjoying their CHOGM day off!

Ideas Actually

You know, I've never seen myself as an all white kind of girl; however, this place with its clean shots of pure colour and natural textures has me considering the idea.

It has me considering lots of ideas actually, another being the gallery wall above the desk. You know these things scare the bejeesus out of me, but I have to admit, I love this one.

Did You Spot This?

Did you spot this fabulous home over at Design*Sponge last week?

I grinned a humongous grin when I noticed that rubber band ball in the third image. It instantly made me think of this one that one of my guys made. Endless hours of fun, endless I tell you.

But back to business, this is one stylish abode created around a refined vintage look. Loved it.

Other Side

That first image of this home really caught my eye. I love the colour of the art and how it sits against the gorgeous grey back drop. It is a home filled with great art works and lovely views.

However I really couldn't cope with that art display above the fireplace. Could you? It's a good thing I probably live on the other side of the world, because if I ever did happen to visit this home I'd be looking for a hammer the second I walked in the door.
