Tis the Night of the Witches' Feast.... !!!

 
Preachers will tell you that "Halloween is the Devil's Night".... No, That is Tonight... April30th....

          They gather this evening till the Dawn ... to pay homage to their "Dark Master"

          

                        this Disney Classic is about this Night (Walpurgis) ...Walpurgisnacth ....!!
    the night to best stay indoors and say your nightly prayers....  for Evil roams this night....

Tonight is the Night of the Witches' Feast...

           
                 "Walpurgus Night"... ("Walpurgisnacht" in old Germanic)


                Disney's "A Night on Bald Mountain" (from Fantasia) was about tonight.....


             
it is a night that the barriers between realms is at its "thinnest" and the "spirits" may roam freely about. A feast of "unleavened" Bread (and No salt) ... dancing "Wider shins" (Backwards, often back to back, rather than facing one another)..


                                For tomorrow is the "May Day" celebration...

                   And we will tell you of the May-Pole and the "Jack in Green"...

A Night for Spirits......

well the sun is going down and outside grows darker ... till dawn the barriers between our world and the "spirit world" will be at their weakest....

This lessening of the "barrier" happens at least three times each year ... Halloween, Dec 21st and Tonight... Walpurgis Night (which is 1/2-way to Halloween as well)

                                 Beware the darkness and stay safe till Dawn....

Tomorrow is the Night of the Witch's Feast....
