Today's Univeral Monster.....

                                      One of my favorite Movie Monsters was The Fly.....

 
                the story of a brilliant Scientist attempting to create a "teleportation" device......

                        The scene where his wife first sees what has become of her husband....
 
 
 with "unfortunate" results...... seems that a Fly got into the Machine along with him....
              
                              Combining his Human DNA with that of the Fly.....


               He convinces her to kill the thing that he has become in a large Hydraulic Press......

                  
                           and as for the poor Fly..... with Human head and hand....
 

 
 
                                        was also one of my favorite toys as a kid.....
                                   
                                             a rather "cheaply made" 8 inch figure....
                 
                          Now I own the 12 inch figure (from Return of the Fly).....
                    
                                                        we do like this design....

and finally reveals to his wife ..."what" is "wrong"....

Due to the fact that a Fly had gotten into the "transporter" machine... the transportation went horribly Wrong.... Thus combining their genetics to create a "New" creature.... The Fly....!!!

      He finally ends his life by having his beloved wife crush him in a large press machine......

                      we were even able to obtain a 1/6 scale figure of this Monster....
                
                as a child we had the (rather cheaply-made) "Fly" 8 inch action figure...
                                       

                                              one of my favorite toys as a kid....

The "monster" used in "Return of the Fly" is the image of this Classic Monster for most people...

               and who could forget the "end scene" where they find the fly with the doctor's Head...???

       The Fly from 1958.... I had read the story a couple of times before I started 8th grade.....
 Now I have this great "Return of the Fly" figure for my collection.....
            And Attack of the Crab Monsters...... Enjoyed this one on some Saturdays as a kid...

We do not know just how long these Films will be available on You Tube... We re-posted these three ... well The Attack of the Crab Monsters and Island were already deleted from older posts here at the "Crypt"...
