The Blob - 1988

Or ..." Cheerleader and Hoodlum Save the World"
The Blob.... Much better than the Larry Hagman backed film of the early 70's
I like this poster best ..... it was on the video box

First it eats an old Man.....

then Paul....
Even poor little Eddie.......

And then proceeds to attempt to eat everyone......
You can view the entire movie on You-Tube (in 7 segment sections)
                                                 Beware of clogged Drains Kiddies......

Movie Time

Another early 70's Made for Television Horror movie..... And even now a new major motion picture....
...."Don't Be Afraid Of the Dark".....

we begin with "whispering voices... coming from the sealed up furnace ....

the New owner hires the old man that bricked it up in the first place to open it up....
Then only Later does she find out about the "dark Ones" who dwell in the cellar...

They have come for her to drag her off into the darkness to stay with them Forever....

Then we have the new movie.... ( I have not seen this version) a "special" thanks to "Horror Digest" (Check Out Their Web Site) For the great "hard to find" images.....

Nosferatu images Klaus Kinski...

here from the 1979 version we have the re-actment of the classic "shadow on the Wall" scene ....the $500.oo "limited collector's edition of the mask and hands... ( ( an image that I "drooled" over along with the "Face Hugger" from the same ad as a youth...)Kinski arises  from the hold of the ship...But Kinski gave a creepy performance as "the master of the rats" the sexual overtones were a bit "overdone"... Reinfield was "interesting... Even in German with subtitles ... it is worth watching ( Note: The German town in which the "Rat" scenes were filmed refused to allow the film crew to use any type of rat but sterlized white lab rats ... they wanted "black rats" ... so the crew dyed them all black by the time of filming the rats had licked off most of the dye... thus the rats are "grey" in the finished film...)
