Actually commemorating the Victory of the Mexicans over their  Oppressors in the Battle of Puebla.
And they were able to drive the French Invaders from their lands in 1862...!!!

Today's May Monster.....

               
                                For "D", we were going to post "Daleks".....

 But, decided upon Darth Vader... (it is another Star Wars fan-day, "Revenge of the 5th"...

                            So we continue with "D" for Darth Vader....
 
 This great Villain has been reduced to entertaining children for the Mouse.
 
                                So, guess it is the "Mouse" or the Streets....

Don't Guess we have a Beer Today....

          
                     That's OK though.... Do not mind.... we have Food at least....
 
Poverty sucks.... My Sister said that we can afford to mail off a package ( of "older" Toys) to a fellow Collector.... Have been unable to mail these items to him for some months now.....
           
          Sir "Hobgoblin" is a Great Human.... and cannot find these items in his area....

And I still have my Coffee....

                                      Their victory over the French in their lands...
                                  (The "Independence Day" in Mexico is in mid September... )

            These days... most folks just see it as a great day to do a bit of Drinking...
