Mallard Duck Watercolor

Hello Everyone,

Today starts a new challenge at The Male Room. Our challenge theme for the next coming weeks is all about watercolor! You can choose objects, themes, and/or phrases that pertain to our theme. We want to see your clear interpretation of this theme. Just remember, to keep it masculine. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

I am pretty sure this no line watercolor. All I did was plop the stamp down on my MISTI and colored it. Next, I used waterbased ZIG markers on watercolor paper, I colored the stamp and then brought it down. I did this about a million times 😉to get the desired result.

This is my husband's Fathers Day card. Ever since I have known him he has loved the mallard. Why? I have no idea. All I know is it brings him joy, and that is why there is a gigantic mallard on the cover.

A detailed image of our mallard. All the variegated colors are what makes this so beautiful. Look at the water; so many pretty colors.
