Ooezpus - Your Limit (2017)
You guys really should test Your Limit, latest release from Oozepus, a band with members from death/doom Coffins and the industrial Linekraft. Is it so surprising that they play some evil and sludgy Godflesh worship. Nope. Is it surprising that they do it so well? Nope (if you don't know Coffins and Linekraft, well, check them!). On a similar note, is it surprising that it has been released by Malignant Records? Nope. My only complain is that it's only fouur tracks, an album would be welcome!

Metadevice - Studies For A Vortex (2021)
Studies For A Vortex is the first Metadevice album, a new project of Andre Coelho (Sektor 304, Beyond Enclosure). Excellent industrial music blending power electronics, death industrial and dark ambient. Should please anyone into industrial music. Released by the mighty Malignant Records. Recommended stuff.

Abjection Ritual - Soul of Ruin, Body of Filth (2018)
Abjection Ritual had released good death industrial/power electronics albums, but with the new one, Soul of Ruin, Body of Filth, released by Malignant Records, they added some guitars and drums and it's a really successfull evolution for their music, bringing it another dimension, taking it to a new level. Their new metal elements reminds Neurosis, Godflesh, and it's as well done as the death industrial/Power electronics parts that are still theere and the whole is just awesome, with also a fine use of a bit of melody surfacing over the dark heaviness. I think it's among the very best and most interesting albums released this year so far. Highly recommended!

Concrete Mascara - Perennial Disappointment (2016)
This is not easy listening... this is power electronics. Concrete Mascara is an american power electronics trio and Perennial Disappointment is their debut on Malignant records (a reliable dealer in power electronics / dark ambiant stuff). But they had already released something like six albums plus other releases. They manage on this album to sound as "hard", extreme and abrasive as power electronics can but also easier to listen than other stuff of this kind because each tracks have it's own thing that makes it different from the rest of the album, unlike their previous album "History of Ruin", some tracks have rythmic elements (there's a good technoise track for exemple), some vocal parts, some instrumentals, more ambiant tracks. It's very extreme but not too much, too dense and boring. An excellent and, hum... "enjoyable" power electronics album.
