Been doing it for more than ten years now, and have no intention to stop any soon : here's a list of my favourite grind releases from 2022. Many "usual suspects", but also new bands.

Gets Worse - Teen Wolf (2022)

You can always rely on Gets Worse for some good powerviolence, and their new release Teen Wolfe (9 tracks, one long and most of the others around a minute long) is no exception. You'll get your blistering fast paced powerviolence punctuated at times by slower hardcore or sludge moments. Enjoy!

Gets Worse - Snubbed (2019)

Gets Worse are back with a new album called Snubbed and the fastcore/powerviolence of the quartet from the UK did not lose it's excellency at crafting catchy and memorable songs, more than is usual in their style, without losing power and intensity, quite the contrary.
Really cool stuff.

Gets worse - White horse (2015)

Gets worse is a powerviolence / grind trio from Leeds, UK. The real deal. White horse is their new release and it's as ferocious and relentless as they use to be. I'd probably get crazy at one ot their show. They're very good at finding the good balance between slower hardcore parts and faster grind, each one strenghtening the impact of the other. That's the key and they found it. If you need your 8 minute dose of grindviolence this will do perfectly. You just risk being left wanting some more. But don't worry you'll just have to play it again and that will be fine...
