L's Big Girl Bedroom

Do you remember the fabulous pink, black and white damask baby bedding that I made a few years back? {HERE}  That room was the most fabulous baby girl nursery that I have ever seen … and I just thought it couldn’t get any cuter.  Well, the little girl has grown up and moved into her big girl bed … her Mom has over the top ideas and executed the design at a very professional level.  Love working with her!

I made the pillows, dust ruffle, and the overlay that goes at the bottom of the bed.  I also made the table to the right of the bed; super simple - three legged table, Modge Podge fabric to the top, staple the “skirt” to the edge of the wooden top and then finish off with trim that is hot glued over the staples.  Most of the pillow fabrics came from Hobby Lobby, and I really like how the pillows look against the simple white coverlet.  Everything in this bedroom is absolutely adorable … the furniture, the gallery wall, the bedding … on and on … every detail is perfect.

Stay tuned for baby girl number two …  EEEEK! So excited about that room!

Blue and Green Baby Boy Monkey Set

I really enjoy sewing baby crib sets and all the accessories.  Everyone always has different ideas, color combinations, and themes.  I like seeing how the bedding that I make will look in each room.  This room is very fabulous! This is one of my favorite baby rooms that I have had the opportunity to work with.  The soon to be Mom had picked out just the right fabrics; fabrics that coordinated well but they aren't super "matchy-matchy"  See the monkeys? Ummm yeah, the mother painted those FREE HANDED!

Baby Girl Crib Bedding Sets

I have become a sewing maniac!  Sewing crib bedding has become a regular occurrence for me and I love it! As always, I enjoy working with different color combinations!  I don't know what I am going to do when I have a child, I don't know if I am going to be able to choose!  So many choices!!

Made this set for my BFF that I've had since middle school.

I especially love this next set .... Not too girly, but just enough. Super cute room too!  I didn't make the letters, but I sure do like how they they match.

Texas A&M :: Baby Bedding & Subway Art

I really enjoy making baby bedding, especially when I get use Fightin' Texas Aggie fabric.  I only made a blanket and a few sheets with these fabrics.  I was surprised by how well this light pink and gray went with Aggie maroon.

My fellow Aggies just can't get enough of these subway art signs.  I'm pretty sure that I've made about 20 of them.  So fun and unique.

Texas A&M Bean Bag

Remember the {PATCHWORK BEAN BAG}? And how super cute it was?! I still think that it is one of the most fabulous items that I have ever made.  A bean bag- such a good idea for a gift!!  When I was working on the patchwork bean bag, I knew I would be making one for Mrs. P's son.  I've already made Mrs. P's {AGGIE BABY BEDDING} and I wanted the bean bag for her son to match.  His first birthday was just right around the corner; perfect timing for coming across this fabulous idea.

Baseball Crib Bedding Set

This has got to be one of the cutest boy baby bedding sets that I've ever sewn up. We didn't get all crazy with the baseball theme but I felt like we added just enough to make it snazzy without it being too frilly and girly. Check out that banner on the crib!! Fabulous!! However, I didn't make that item, but I do think it's a great idea for a little boy's room.

Multi Colored Baby Bedding Set

I was asked to make a crib bedding set with about six to eight different fabrics. The “Mom to Be” wanted all the fabrics in the bedding set and didn't have a preferece on the fabric placementI was a little apprehensive about this idea especially since everything wasn’t “matchy-matchy”; but it actually turned out quite fabulous! The crib skirt with all of the fabrics sewn together is beyond awesome and then the quilt ... Ummm- Can you say amazing!
