Ally Pally Weekend

So I just had a fab fun weekend spent at the big stamp and scrapbooking show.
My darling Mummy made this weekend possible and I thank her muchly as I love meeting up with friends old and new xo I just wish everyone didn't live so far apart.. But anywhoooooo.
The first thing was to get this shot

Then the hordes arrived and took over the PA stand..

Leandra and Lin were straight into demoing the fab new paint colours and new stampage..

And Gillian was showing off her samples getting Lin to shop shop shop lol

Helen and Lin B on their phones while Lin and Anna just mill about.
Then I headed over to annoy Sam Poole and the MDF man.

I only managed 1 shot of the #PAtwit meet up we had after the show on Saturday, Not as many as in april but it was still nice to rest the feet and have a little natter with everyone before heading home.

On sunday I managed to snap Don and Val of Snazzy's before things got going

Here is Gilly and Leandra ready for their day of demo's

The calm didn't last long as soon it was busy busy

The crowds gather

To the point I couldn't get near.. Gilly was in her element!

Me and my pint size pal Alison... {she's on her tiptoes you know lol}

Then I found Lucy and Lin mooching at the PA stand once it had quietened down.

And that was all the pics I got.. I was too busy nattering and watching demos oh and a smidge of shopping
The pics came out a bit fuzzy but i'll share um anyway.. I also got a tray, set of draws and lots of hardware from the MDF man but forgot to take a pic.

So that was my weekend.. How was yours?

Finn Workshop: BEST WEEKEND EVER {Pic Heavy}

So as you may already know a whole bunch of us were lucky enough to get places on the
UK Debut class of
It was Ania's very 1st time teaching here in the UK but i'm sure it won't be the last.
And it was A-MAZ-ING, The most intensive 2 days crafting of my life but the most enjoyable too.
Day 1 was broken into 2 classes,
I got stuck sitting next to some right dodgy people
 my bezzy Gillian
mischief maker Alison, with Emma hiding in the background.
And deep in the process Sam
We did a layout in the morning.. This is mine
I had to make mine with no photo {I added it when I got home coz I totally forgot to print any}
***
Then in the afternoon we made a canvas
Finn was on top form
Here is my canvas..
Ania was kind enough to give some of us without pics a photo of her to use..
{I had brought an SD card but the printer was dead}
Group shoot...Everyone say cheese.
***
Day 2 was Getting Inky with Prima
We started in the morning by decorating a prima journal cover
front and back
Then in the afternoon we did a couple of pages
The printer was working again so I managed to get a couple of pics. {thanks Don}
 This was a great learning curve, especially as it involves all those left over scraps.
I didn't get a proper chance to finish page 2 but it still looks ok and I now know what i'm doing thanks to the wonderful teachings of Ania. Seriously this lady is Uber talented and Uber sweet too.
#AllHailAnia
After class a few of us kidnapped Ania for a meal
{OK i'm kidding, she came willingly although i'm not sure she knew what she was letting herself in for! lol
 I finally got to meet several online friends in person which was a real pleasure.
Along with many other friends old and new.
I'd like to thank everyone for making it an awesome weekend to remember.
I was very sad to say goodbye to everyone.
Roll on Ally Pally :)

A Snazzy Weekend

Hiya Peeps
Sorry i've been absent for a few days,  But I have good reason.
I spent the whole weekend down at Snazzy's Stamping and Scrapbooking teaching a couple of mini classes and generally have a blast.
 It was a weekend of yummy food

Lots of fun inky paper play
And a comfy place to rest my head
I have to admit I was useless when it came to taking pics, I was so caught up in the whole excitement of the weekend and it was pretty non stop, and then when I did stop I had forgotten my camera and only managed a couple of shots with my phone.
I did manage to do a quick shop walk round vid on my phone b4 I left to come home.

I would just like to say a Massive Thank you to Val and Don for there hospitality and to the lovely ladies who attended both classes x It was a real pleasure and I hope it can all be done again soon.

Put A Flower On It!

 I inadvertently made my piece for this weeks Pan Pastel challenge.
That's not to say I wasn't going to join in but it just so happened I was happily playing away trying out some of my new stencils and the many new colours of PP's I got from Snazzy's @ Ally Pally and created this page.
Fits in perfectly with the flower theme, all it needs is a nice summery pic and maybe some embellishing, but I guess i'll have to wait for that as it hasn't stopped raining for days here now.
Thanks for stopping by. Till next time..

A Day Out

I'm off out to the Craft 4 Crafters @ Westpoint Exeter today
Snazzy's are there so I thought it would be nice to go and meet the bosses in person.
And I made them a little something with my left over 7 Dot Studio stash
 I covered a canvas with a 12x12 sheet of the 'dreamer' paper, then used the matching stickers to embellish it.
I stuck some of the stickers over old chipboard letters I had, then re cut them out again so they matched in with the project.
If your coming to the show and you see me, do say Hi
and Snazzy's are on stand 101.
If I remember the camera i'll try and take some pics.
Have a Great Day
