WOYWW The 4th Anniversary Edition

So... It's finally here..
HAPPY 4TH ANNIVERSARY Julia and all the WOYWW crew.
Who knew when it all started it would still be going strong all these years later.
A big hip hip hurray to Julia for starting and maintaining this whole shebang!
So to business: Todays desk looks like this:

 It's a bit empty coz I moved almost everything off to get my ATC made {yesterday..can you believe I had all that time and I made it yesterday!!!!} But it's made and that's all that matters..

I used a 4 of hearts playing card, stuck on the WOYWW die-cut letters and some words, then smooched over some distress paint and finished with some treasure gold.
I hope whoever get's it is happy with it!

P.S Please excuse the blanket comment i'll be posting to everyone... I made a little ryme so I could get round as many desk as poss without my wrist pain flaring up too much, hope you understand xo

ATC Play

I sat happily playing with some ATC's the other day, I managed 3 sets of 3 in a set of 12 I was doing, but was stumped with my last 3, That was until I saw the theme over on the Stampotique Designer Challenge
'Artist Trading Cards'
It was just the push I needed to finish the collection, and here they are

 All the bases are playing cards

Covered with a mix of gesso, paint, pan pastels and stencils

And topped with stampotique images in black embossing powder and highlighted with a white posca pen.
I'll be sharing the other ATC's another time for sure, just not photographed them yet.

What's wrong with me!!!

I still haven't managed to create a masterpiece inspired by Lord Tim of Holtz.. I must be coming down with a fever or something, as Tim always inspires me.. But not to fear, I'm sure something will transpire, I'm having a crafty day with a friend today so that might do the trick!

ATC Inspiration!

I came across a fab blog not too long ago called HobbyRoo.

The blog belonged to a lady called Tina and her ATC's are just Divine (not that i make them that often now) but her's really caught my imagination.

I had just recently purchased some of the stamps she had used (back in may), so with my new found inspiration, i attempted to create a couple of ATC's "Roo style" lol

I am not overly impressed with them, but having not really tried the style properly before i wasn't too disappointed with my efforts..

What do you think?
