The Design Team Call Has Concluded...

Hello friends! I'm popping in today (finally!) to let you know that we have now contacted the finalists for the Design Team (and guest designers) and are happy to report that they all have accepted our invitation to join Team TCM! To say that this was a difficult decision is an understatement. We LOVED all the submissions... each offered something very special...and we appreciated all the LOVE we received from you good people. Thank you sooooo much!!!

We will introduce the new designers to you soon. In the meantime, we are still awaiting word on our August release, which will now occur in September, due to a big change at the stamp manufacturing company. It's been a nightmare for many of us. All we can do is hope that things will settle back to normal... or better than normal... soon! Thank you for hanging in there with us. We promise it will be worth the wait!

Status of Design Team Call

Hello friends! I'm popping in today to let you know that the DT call closed last night and we have more than 70 applicants! Whew!!! And what a LOT of loveliness! Narrowing it down to just four will be sooooo hard!  We hope to contact the finalists within the next few days, so please stay tuned. I'll post again when they have all been contacted.

Open Design Team Call
August 6-20, 2012

Do you love to stamp?  

Even better, do you love to stamp with TCM images?

Do you enjoy inspiring others?

Then it may be YOU we are looking for!

Design Team Term:  

6 months

Sept-March, 2013

Open Internationally

Requirements: 

*1 project post for each new release set

(average of 4-6 new releases per month)

during our previews and New Release Blog Hop

 and at least one other time in the month

prior to the next release

(which can include our sketch challenge)

*Promote The Craft’s Meow on your blog, online galleries

such as Flickr, Splitcoaststampers, Two Peas in a Bucket, etc

and social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter & Google+

It is NOT a requirement to be a part of these sites, but we do

encourage you to be a part of SCS & Two Peas

*An active blog and good photography skills.

All TCM projects will be required to be uploaded

to the TCM Gallery

The Craft’s Meow will provide:

* Approx. $60-$80 in stamps and product specific

to The Craft’s Meow for each release during your term

(six releases scheduled)

* Compensation for any PRINT publication projects

which feature stamps & product specific to The Craft’s Meow
(compensation will be in the form of free stamp sets)

*  Product discounts on orders from The Craft’s Meow

*Exposure for your blog including direct links

each time you participate with a required post or

TCM blog hop event

To apply, please provide the following:

* Your name

*Your blog name and link

* Photos of three (3 only please) projects 

that showcase you as a designer

We only need three to get a feel for your style!

Because of the number of submissions we receive

PLEASE SIZE THEM APPROPRIATELY FOR EMAIL VIEWING

We do ask that you limit additional 'links' to additional information.

With the number of blogs we will have to visit, we will not have

so please include the specific information in your submission.

Of course, we would love for you to use stamps from

but it is not required to apply

* A list of your current/past DT experience

(no experience required)

* A list of creative credits such as publications,

Design Team Call

It took a bit longer than expected, but we finally finished going through more than 100 applications for our design team and issued invitations to three ladies. I'm happy to say they have accepted and will join us for the March new release festivities! There are also several ladies who will be appearing here as guest designers over the next six months. :)

I want to thank everyone again, so very sincerely, for applying for a spot on the DT. I was, quite simply, overwhelmed with the love you've shown for The Craft's Meow. It means the world to me! Please know that not being picked this time around is no indication of the caliber of your work, which is stellar! There will be more design team calls! I hope to eventually give you all a spot on the team or as guest designer, so please stay tuned and don't lose heart.

This is all happening at a very unique time for TCM... our first birthday is March 21st! Can you believe it? I can't. ;) We will be celebrating all month long, with tons of contests, challenges and PRIZES galore, along with some very special announcements!!! We're kicking off the month with one of those special announcements on March 1st, followed by a blog hop on March 2nd!!! Our March previews and birthday celebration will start March 16, with our new release on the 20th. I hope you'll join us!
