A Special Meaning Card!

Hello!! Larissa here today to share a very Special Card!!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and this disease has been a part of my Mother-In-Laws life for the last 15 years!! She is one strong woman and I wanted to create this card for her!!

You could create this card for lots of different occasions though!! I wanted to use the Beautiful Rose Stamp Set and the Chalkboard Faith Stamp Set for my card today!! I am LOVING both of these sets because they are so versatile!!

Beautiful Rose

Chalkboard Faith

I started by stamping the Roses onto some Colored Cardstock (once on pink and once on green) then I water colored them both with darker shades to add some extra dimension!! I fussy cut it out and pieced it together!! I then stamped the Chalkboard Sentiment onto some Dark Grey Cardstock and Embossed it using white Embossing powder by Ranger!! I wanted to make parts of it Pop so I layered it by Embossing the same sentiment again in Gold Embossing Powder and cutting out the flags and hearts and piecing it together!! I LOVE the way it looks!! I added it to a FUN Die Cut Frame that I covered with some Gold Mica Textured Paste!! It looks so neat in real life!! Here is my finished card!!

THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by today and if you missed the Blog Post Yesterday please check it out!! There are some VERY AMAZING Challenges and Prizes being shared over on the SplitcoastStamper's Blog!! The Craft's Meow is a Proud Sponsor and these cards mean so much to those who receive them!!

Have a Fabulous Day!!

Congratulations

Hey, y'all!  It's Jinny here to share a pretty, little number, inspired by a trio of goodies you can find right in our TCM Store.  Enjoy!
I'm a huge fan of layers and have managed to tie in a number of just such to this creation.  A little stamping, on a variety of different surfaces including vellum...
paper-piecing, and lots of yummy ribbons and trims cooked up a little something special for a wedding, graduation, or whatever occasion may need a congratulatory wish.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  May your weekends be full of creativity!

So Blessed...

Hello TCM Friends!
It's Sharri here with you today to share a couple cards.
Next week the U.S. celebrates it's Independence on July 4th which inspired me to create a card with a patriotic feel to it.
The sentiment is from the Beautiful Roses stamp set which was just released last week!
The fun pattern papers that I used for the banners, star and pinwheel is from Bo Bunny's Liberty pack. I wanted a pattern on both sides of the paper for my pinwheel so I added strips of Washi Tape on the back of the paper before I cut out the pinwheel. The back ground is embossed with the Tiny Stars embossing folder by Paper Studio.

My next card uses images and a sentiment from the Simply Delightful.
I stamped the solid flower in from the set and then stamped the outline flower over it with blue.
The pattern papers are from Authentique called Genuine. I added a button and a pearl flourish to finish off the card.

Here are the sets that I used -

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful rest of your weekend!

Sweet Memories Card & Video

Hello, Stamp Lovers!

It's Deborah here today with a card and a video!

I used two of the June stamp releases in my card today:

and

This card could be used for a variety of occasions: anniversary, friendship, even a coming-of-age event. I got to playing with my PrismaColor pencils again because the image was so perfect for them - sort of old-fashioned and wanting rich color that had some texture to it. I could have used Copics, but I just love the depth of colored pencil on the page! Besides which, Copics have really stolen the spotlight for the last few years so I like to rally around my equally beautiful pencils (which are a heck of a lot more easy on the pocketbook, as well).

I'd like to mention here that I used one of the Nestabilities Label Eight dies by Spellbinders - as you can see, it works quite nicely with the label stamp from the Beautiful Rose set.

And here's the video!

O T H E R   S U P P L I E S:
Cardstock (Memory Box); Patterned Paper (My Mind's Eye); Ink (Hero Arts); Colored Pencils (Prismacolor); Butterfly (Studio Calico); Button (Blumenthal Lansing); Gems (Recollections); Other: dimensional adhesive, Gamsol, corner rounder

Thanks for stopping and have a blessed day!
