Doing the Cristina

Hey gorgeous! :)

Do you remember my swap with sweet Nicole? She surprised me with a franken of her own called Doing the Cristina :D Awwwwww! :D And that is exactly what i bring you today :) I waited and waited until Fall arrived so that i could use it in his full plenitude :)

Lembram-se da minha troquinha com a querida Nicole? Ela surpreendeu-me com um franken da sua autoria chamado Doing the Cristina :D Oinnnnn! :D E é ele que vos trago hoje :) Eu esperei e esperei pelo Outono para poder usá-lo em toda a sua plenitude :)

Gorgeoussss! *_* Doing the Cristina has a purple jelly base and needed 4 coats. I used a coat of Essence UGNS top coat to help it dry :p It's not easy to describe it since there's a lot going on lol but i can surely see small green, purple, red and blue hexes glitter along with small rounded glitter :) (just as complex as me ah ah). My silly camera focused the bottle instead of my nails... ahh well

Lindãoooo! *_* Doing the Cristina tem uma base roxa jelly e precisou de 4 camadas. Adicionei uma camada do top coat Essence UGNS para acelerar o processo de secagem :p Não é fácil descrevê-lo uma vez que há muita coisa a acontecer lol mas eu consigo definitivamente observar pequenos glitters hexagonais roxos, verdes, azuis e vermelhos, bem como glitter redondos menores :) (tão complexo quanto a minha pessoa! ih ih). A minha câmara ficou totó e focou o frasquinho em vez das unhas... enfim

Franken - Box of Sugar

Hello everyone!! :D

One of these days when i just started my vacations i read this post by Amy from I'm Feeling Nail-Venturous that completely set me off to do my first franken! lol I do love white polishes with glitter that i keep seeing from Indie brands out there and the possibility of making my own was so thrilling! I ended up making three frankens lol two blues and a white one. Here he is "Box of Sugar":

Um destes dias quando entrei de férias, li este post da Amy do blog I'm Feeling Nail-Venturous que me despertou a curiosidade para fazer o meu primeiro franken/misturinha! lol Eu adoro vernizes brancos com glitter e cada vez mais tenho visto este tipo de vernizes em diversas marcas Indies pelo Mundo fora, portanto a possibilidade de ter o meu próprio foi bastante entusiasmante! :D Acabei por fazer três frankens/misturinhas - dois azuis e um branco. Aqui está o "Box of Sugar":

It reminds me of candies lool therefore i called him Box of Sugar ih ih. I started with half a bottle of Risqué Paris and then i added 6 types of glitter. The trick to me was choosing a white jelly polish or something that wasn't opaque in one layer. Mixing is terrible without a small ball inside and i don't have any... i was shaking this for something like an hour lol. Like Risqué Paris, my franken took 3 coats for full opacity and had the same normal drying time :) I used it for 3 days and there was no chipping at all :)

O verniz recorda-me doces lol portanto designei-o de "Box of Sugar" ih ih. Comecei com meio frasco do Risqué Paris e depois fui adicionando cerca de 6 tipos de glitter. O truque para mim foi escolher um verniz branco jelly ou não opaco numa só camada. A parte de misturar é horrível se não tiverem nenhuma bolinha pequenina dentro do verniz... demorei cerca de uma hora sempre a chocalhar o verniz para tudo se misturar lol. Tal como o Risqué Paris, a minha misturinha levou três camadas até atingir opacidade total e tem um tempo de secagem normal :) Usei-o por três dias e não ficou com nenhuma lasca :)
