So much talent in this world! These are worth sharing them with you:
One who observes and thinks about what has been seen, what has passed by my way, what greater meaning lies behind and beneath life's small events.

Geese: Avoid them.
The bull was offended. He chased the goose away from his cows, strutting in triumph. This happened again and again. Crazy goose clearly had to do something.

The Nation of Israel
Disturbed, with Draiman singing the Israel anthem.
David Draiman is Jewish, was educated in Israel, studied in America.
The Light with David Draiman
Each is about 3 min. long, worth listening to at least part of it. This is a real departure from what I had heard before. His voice is hypnotic.
I met the Disturbed music quite by accident. It was my 10 yr. old gr-daughter who showed me the new cover of Sound of Silence played some selections that I really enjoyed.
Thing is that if I had not fallen in love with David Draiman and his powerful voice, I would never have gone to find his work, even listened to him. Happy accidents.
One of the guitarists brought his 9 yr oldThere you have it. I have fallen in love Disturbed and David Draiman.
This is a repost from Jan. 2022.
Watching the war in Israel and Palestine, how can we not
be horrified
History teaches so much. Sadly the younger university
students seem to be skewed. Lack of understanding history will
doom generations whose minds reach only so far.
Pray for the Israel. Pray for its people.

Dangers of Editing
| Such fragility
Finn struggled with creating meaningful narrative in his latest book, Torch in the Dark Fount.
Liam carefully spread the ceremonial shawl upon….
Who? Why would he “spread” any shawl upon…? Delete…delete…
Liam grasped his knife and savagely shred the silken shawl ….
A little better….type, type…
Liam presented a fragile white crocus dipped in enemy blood to Warrior Queen Ma-eve. Ah, much better, Finn decided. With a chest filled with pride, he headed to his kitchen.
However, Finn few hours. Rookie mistake, but it was not Finn's his last.

Blowing in the Wind
Danny
had flown headfirst into a relationship with Kerry, lovely lovely
Kerry. Then he quickly discovered Kerry was superb at creating an
intricate windmill of lies.
These were so preposterous, linked together with a weaver's skill. Each lie was more elaborate than previous ones. Only Kerry could make her deception an art form.
Yes, Danny wanted to shiver, freeze to escape Kerry's windmill.
WedWords were first created years ago by Delores. She
did great battles with her computer and then took time to heal. The challenge has passed to Elephant's child and River.
This is a repost from 2021. Our farm had the remains of a windmill. It must have been ancient.

Revenge served up close and personal
Any
person who rhapsodizes about hanging laundry in fresh air to dry has
never done so in the Midwest, and for seven people in the family. I
would have gladly invited them to spend a week with me on our farm.
Also, they have never had to iron that laundry, a sizable chore for many
afternoons.
| blueberrybucket.tumblr.com |
One Wednesday as we prepared to attend Wednesday prayer meeting, I was rushing to take down laundry. It was early dusk and was a hurry-up job: remove clothespin, fold item, place in the bushel basket, and move on very quickly. Once the folded underwear was distributed, my teenage self had to hurry to get ready.
Some time into the service, my teenage brothers began to squirm and cry out. Then one by one, each leaped to their feet and ran out the church, screaming.
While this pleased me to no end, this event confused me mightily. Whatever their pain was, it was their due since they were each evil masochistic sub-humans.
| Sweat Bee |
Later, it was discovered that there were sweat bees in their underpants. Yes, those bees with a short-term sting that hurt like the dickens. They are unusual in that they fly around in early dusk and evening. God bless them.
I was certainly innocent in this, totally innocent. For some reason, the bees had selected their underpants. Why, I don't know. But, my joy knew no bounds.
I fell asleep with a giggle and a smile. Revenge happens when it is least expected.
These sites are blog posts where the evil masochistic brothers made my life a living hell throughout many years.
God bless you, Marvel Comics

Frosted glass, music, cat, cocoa
Violet had barely taken a sip, when she cried out, “Oh, look, Kitty! There’s another one!” Even with her glasses steamed and fogged, Miss Violet did not miss a man in a dark overcoat as he rushed by on Albany Lane, now a very slippery street.
When he tumbled and cursed, Miss Violet giggled and marked another hash mark on her writing tablet. “That makes 13 today!” Marshmallow spittle splattered onto Kitty, who was not in the least bothered by it.
This is a re-post from Nov. 29, 2012. The italicized, underlined words were a gift from Delores (her blog at the time "thefeatherednest") and Wednesday Words challenge she instigated. Being the clever girl she is, Delores managed to capture and pique the interest of many bloggers who delighted in using 6 unrelated words and playing with them. She stepped off the blogging stage, handing the baton on.
This writing challenge still exists! You can find the words at several bloggers' sites, mainly Elephant's Child, River-Drifting through Life,

This was originally published in 2013, and now has been updated. The underlined words are from Delores who
created Wednesday Words long ago to challenge and inspire writers.
Finding ways to put disparate words together is entertaining, makes my
sense of humor break through.
I love throwing "Vegas into posts randomly.
I had surgery on my right wrist on Sept. 6 last year. It is still healing and I have overworked it. So I am using many Wed. Words Post from a decade ago. Please come and visit my site. |

Trip of a life time
Jerry
had packed a suitcase weeks ago, checked off days on his Hot Babes
calendar, and read everything possible about Yellowstone National Park.
This had been his lifelong dream, so much so that he had saved
intensely for fifteen years. I can scarcely believe it...Yellowstone! Yellowstone, at last!
Jerry sprinted to catch his Bus, tripped over a case left on the sidewalk by a curvy blonde and fell hard on his knee. Even though his scrape bled like a son of a gun, Jerry stopped to put his packed suitcase into the belly of the beast. The case popped open, spraying his clothing onto dripping oil by the bus. Hot Babes was forever disfigured.
Finally, the elderly bus rattled out onto freeway from Burton, Florida, heading straight to Yellowstone. In 30 minutes or so,the poor bus wheezed to a stop, and all could see the radiator boiling ,sending steam straight up.Jerry felt his colon cramp and his stomach become a knotty mass of anxiety.
When the bus rattled back to station, Jerry was nearly crying. While there had never been any sort of competition between calendar to calendar, Jerry had kept years of Hot Babes calendars, crossing off days after days. This was the month...the month...

Oh, Jerry, poor uninformed Jerry.
