Before this bridge was built settlers (and then eventually cars) had to cross from AZ to UT on a ferry. So when this bridge was built it was a big deal. Even Heber J. Grant spoke at it's dedication. People from all over came to it's dedication. It once was the highest steel arch bridge in the world and airplanes flew under it. Interesting history and the scenery around the bridge is pretty...

FORT ZION
(9/3) We always pass Fort Zion on the way to and from Grandpa's ranch. This time we decided to stop and check it out...
It's a cute miniature old west town with a gift shop and petting zoo...
The is Garrett with Chief Windtalker... he just stands in the middle of the gift shop and passes gas. It was so weird at first. I kept hearing it but I wasn't sure where it was coming from. Of course when Garrett discovered it, he thought it was hilarious!
GRAND CANYON NORTH RIM
(9/2) Time for the Isom reunion! On our way to Utah we stopped at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon for a hike. The drive was so pretty with rain on and off...
Here we go!!
So pretty!
We had so much fun hiking and site seeing and the weather was perfect! On our way out we saw a herd of bison laying in a meadow...
