GRANDMA BUSHMAN

(4/30) Robert's sweet grandma passed away the end of April.  Her health had been declining but it was still a bit unexpected.  The day before she passed away, she had moved in with Aunt Ruth and her family in California so they could watch over her but the next morning she had a stroke and passed away peacefully surrounded by family.  Her funeral was beautiful and I enjoyed hearing stories of her life.  She was blessed with 8 children, 53 grandchildren, and 80 great-grandchildren!!  It was fun to see so many members of our family :)
Baird family...
Bushman siblings...
Chambers family...
O'Neill Family...
Bushman cousins...
After the funeral service we had a luncheon with the family...
After the luncheon at the church in tempe we all drove up to Joseph City for her burial.  We drove by the John Bushman home (Robert's great grandparents built this home and his grandpa Orvil Bushman was born in this home).  It is sucha cute home!  I would love an old house like it... just not in Joseph City :)
It was a cloudy, cold, and rainy in Joseph City...
It is tradition in Joseph City for the family to place the dirt back into the grave...
After the burial we met at a cute Bushman barn and gathered for dinner together...
