I've been tagged......

I've been tagged by Karen over at 100 Mile Diet in Calgary. She has a really interesting and informative blog, you should check it out.

Anyhow, I am supposed to tell you 7 amazing things about me. I personally don't think there is anything amazing about me, so I'll tell you 7 things you may not know about me.

1. I am totally clueless when it comes to tools. A screwdriver is a totally foreign object to me, although I do know how to use a hammer!!

2. I am also "mechanically challenged." I put gas in my car and that is it. I blame both my dad and my dh for this problem, as neither took the time to teach me......LOL

3. I cannot barbecue AT ALL, I totally suck at it.......however I can bake and most people say I make good cookies and cakes.

4. I can be quite shy when in a large crowd........to those who know me that's a shocker, but honestly it's true.

5. I carried 2,600 pounds of plaster down two flights of stairs and I have a bad back....oh and I didn't lose a pound in weight.

6. Although I have seen the Full Monty numerous times I still laugh until I nearly pee my pants every time I see it.

7. With dh's help, we have brought up two amazing children, who are a joy and are two very productive young adults, with great careers ahead of them.

So there you go, not amazing things, but sort of interesting things.

Where I Blog from.........

I was tagged to show you where I blog from by Angelena.

I do the majority of my blogging on my laptop, which I do in the family room. We do have a desktop computer which is in the spare bedroom, so will blog from there as well.

I normally blog in the other corner of the family room, but we have moved that chair out (same as the one in the photo) while the house is up for sale.

So, now for the fun part, if you're reading this you're tagged....I know what a pain, but it will be interesting to see where you blog from, also you're not allowed to tidy up the area!!

Adding: What's in the cd player- the two on the left are the Amy Winehouse discs from her "Back To Black" cd (I think that's the title), on the left I got a freebie cd at a show for the "Jersey Boys" (top), and on the bottom, it's Celine Dion's new disc, don't remember the title though.

by Lindsay to tell you six interesting/unusual things about myself.........as I am the most boring person around, this is going to be hard work.

1. You all know I am British, however I HATE Christmas Cake, Mince Pies and Plum Pudding, basically everything with dried fruit, i.e. currants, sultanas and raisins. Apparently when I was young I ate a few too many mince pies and made myself sick, and have never touched those things again. I am lucky in the fact that dh and both kids also hate the same things!!!

2. I hate flying, actually that isn't true, I don't actually hate flying, my body hates flying and I get terrible travel sickness. It was just plain miserable both on the way there and back from Britain earlier in the year.

3. I used to be quite sporty and was in both the field hockey and the netball teams at school.

4. My dream is to own a house in the country on an acre of land.

5. I have a sweet tooth, and can't get enough of milk chocolate, despite the fact that it gives me migraines.

6. I ran a home baking business out of our home for a while in Britain. I hand wrote and hand delivered flyers to all the homes in our town of around 2,000 people. I was popular with the older people who only wanted 1/2 dozen cupcakes/sponge buns, or smaller quantities of items.
