Double Trouble Challenge #184

 

This week's Double Trouble Challenge theme is

 "3-2-1 Recipe - Love is in the Air

 

 Here's my card:

 I generally try to collect as many chances for the DTC random drawing as possible. 

I managed to include all the recipe ingredients plus some.  

I followed the sketch from Try a Sketch on Tuesday Challenge #663. 

 

although I switched the circle for a rectangle and moved my second shapes to the upper corners.  

Notice the little heart in the middle of each.

Including a heart was very easy, but a conversation heart I just couldn't do.

 

(My printer still is not printing in color, so I hand colored the digi image from Imagine That with markers.  The sentiment is from IT as well.  The cute heart border is a Pink and Main die cut.  And the half inch paper strips are from SU.)

I've had a pretty nice Mother's Day

I've been so busy enjoying my day, 

I almost forgot to share a card with you. 

This is where the piece of purple polka dot paper I used on yesterday's card originated.

The cute feline is a small cling stamp from Stampendous.

The sentiment is a CTMH stamp.

Happy 4th of July!!!

This card would be perfect for my grandson's baseball team.  This morning, despite the rain, they won both of their games in the current tournament.  Of course, even if they had lost, they would still be amazing in our eyes!  Hope tomorrow's games go as well. 

Once again, I used items unearthed on my craft table, just adding the stamped items.  All stamps are CTMH.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

Today I am combining two challenges, The Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge # 107 , and the Heart 2 Heart "Game On" Challenge with a card for my 10 yr old grandson, who just returned to the pitcher's mound after a pretty serious illness.  He pitched 3 innings on Saturday and only threw 3 balls.  The other team only scored 1 run while he was pitching, and his team won the game. (He gave me all the details on Sunday since I missed the game because of my Mother's Day Lunch on Saturday.) We are so happy he is playing again.  And he is ecstatic! It's been a rough couple of months and he's been a real trooper.  Definitely Amazing!
