Send A Smile 4 Kids December Challenge

I love you "Snow" much!

(Anything Goes for kids is always acceptable, too.)

For this I decided to use a new snowman die that I picked up last year.  First, I needed to separate all the little (and I'm not exaggerating when I say little) die pieces.  I have a small jewelry nipper that works wonderfully.  However, when I snipped the little nose from inside the hat, it flew.  I had no idea where.  And my work table was so cluttered, my hopes of finding it were small.  I went through piles, I moved things around, I shook things, I crawled around on the floor, I checked my shoes and then decided I was perfectly capable of cutting out a snowman nose without the die.  And that's exactly what I did.

It would be great if you joined the fun at the
December Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
BTW  I found the die a few days later laying on the carpet.
I never thought I'd see that again!

When I first tried to order the stamp set that included this cute holiday Owl, it was sold out.  I don't give up easily and kept an eye on the availability of the set.  Finally, it was back in stock.  I immediately ordered one and just couldn't wait to use it!

Double Trouble Mixes It Up

This card was made specifically for the current Double Trouble Challenge #101.  I missed the last challenge and made it a point not to miss this one!

My card uses 3 patterned papers, has a cute penguin (a digi from 2 cute ink), and follows the sketch at Try Stamping on Tuesday Challenge #539

I'm not sure where I picked up this Inkadinkado stamp, but  it sure looks like this squirrel is ready for some Winter fun.
I colored the image with markers.  The cricut cut sentiment is on the Artbooking cartridge from CTMH.

Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge #633

Welcome to my blog, where I have
a new card
to share with you each week for
Tuesday Morning Sketches
Here is this week's sketch:

My Red Hat gals enjoy really making cards.  Last week we made four Christmas cards.
When prepping the card kits, I made a few extra poinsettias.  One of them is below, on my TMS design team card for this week.
The flower is a layered die cut from Spellbinders.  I cut enough for 16, spread them out on the table top, and sprayed them with a spray mist from Tattered Angels.   I used dies from Sizzix to cut the Winter Wishes from white glitter paper.  Then I placed a few dots of glue here and there among the embossed snowflakes and sprinkled white glitter over top.

I hope you'll have time to play along at
this week.

Yesterday when I posted my November card to the Imagine That! SOTM Challenge, I noticed that Imagine That! was also having a 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.
By simply switching the image and large sentiment to opposite sides, I was able to use the Tuesday Morning Sketch above to create this card.

The use of Red & White was optional, but I tried to stick to that as much as possible.  In looking for background paper, I discovered that I have very little red and white Christmas paper in my stash.  That is a situation which needs to be corrected.

This cute Christmas Dachschund is an Imagine That! digi. I colored this with markers and water colors with Gamsol.  I paper pieced the stripes of glitter paper on the sweater. The sweater and hat bands and pom pom are glue and glitter, the kind that goes everywhere.  My SIL has a dachshund named Holly, so this card will go to her.

Hope you have a great day!
Don't forget to play in these two fun challenges!
