a new card to share with you each week for

Tuesday Morning Sketches
Here is the sketch for this week:

We always say the sketch is just a jumping off point.  My first card looks like this:

Then I got to thinking and made a second card with a bigger aperture in the center.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.

CAS card set

The current Double Trouble Challenge is

Challenge #164 "CAS Less But Better" partnering with Crafter's Cafe

Yesterday I made a card for this pair of challenges.
(Please scroll down for details.)
I mentioned making a set of matching cards.
That's exactly what I did.
I'll be entering both challenges with the yellow card.

(On this card I used a marker to outline the stenciled hearts and added some clear Wink of Stella for a bit of sparkle.)

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge #695

Welcome to my blog, where I have
a new card
to share with you each week for

Tuesday Morning Sketches

The design team is taking turns choosing
their favorite sketch from 2022.
This is Raechelle's favorite.

Did you ever buy a pack of paper
just to get one sheet from it?
What do you do with the rest of the paper?

You use it to make a DT card!

The Design Team would love it if you'd visit our blogs.

Send a Smile 4 Kids June Challenge

The theme for the June Challenge at

Follow SAS4Kids on Facebook!

is Cards 4 Teens or Tweens
or Anything Goes 4 Kids.

My grandsons (14 & 16) fit into this category.
This card would probably make them

Camera stamp from Stamplorations; Wonkey Donkey stamp from Whimsy Stamps; Both were fussy cut; Donkey was paper pieced; Paper is CTMH; Smile die was a freebie, not sure of company.

And this card might be a little more suitable for a teen/tween girl.
In keeping with the optional flower theme at Try Stampin On Tuesdays, I random stamped a piece of white cs before stamping the Stamplorations camera; papers, enamel hearts and sentiment stamp are from CTMH, and stitched triangle dies are from SU.

It would be great if you joined the fun at the
June Challenge.
(Cards only, please. And they need not be donated.)

Please take some time and visit the fabulous blogs of my teammates.  They work so hard and are very creative!
April
And we have two guest designers joining us this month!

Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge #566

Tuesday Morning Sketches
Welcome to my blog, where I have
a new card
to share with you each week for

Here's the sketch for this week.

And here's my card.

The flowers are die cuts from MFT.
I have no clue where I got the Smile die.
I think it was a freebie.

Sometimes when I don't get ink on my hands making a card, I feel like I'm cheating.  But I'll put a nice stamped sentiment on the inside to make up for the lack of stamping on the outside.

I hope you'll play along at
this week.
The Design Team would love it if you'd visit our blogs.

Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge #562

It's Tuesday,
which means I have a card for
to share with you.
Tuesday Morning Sketches

This week we are using the very first sketch that appeared for the very first Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge 11 years ago.
Look familiar?

There is a box in my stash labeled matching patterned paper pieces, full of sandwich bags with dribs and drabs from various paper packs.  Each bag has the name of the paper pack and the ink colors that match the papers.  This particular group of papers I have used, sadly now retired, is called Magical from CTMH.
It is a really fun paper pack deserving of an equally fun card.

The little camera was cut on the cricut.
Stamps are from CTMH.

I hope you'll play along
this week at
Tuesday Morning Sketches

.
It would be lovely if you had the time to visit the blogs of my TMS teammates and leave them a virtual hug, too.

Challenges:
Krafty Chicks Challenge #513 - Stamp Act (I used a CTMH stamp for the sentiment and frame)

Joyful Stars Close To My Heart August Blog Hop

Welcome to the August

Close to My Heart Joyful Stars Blog Hop.
Have some fun hopping between the blogs of this group of talented Close to My Heart consultants, and me, where we share creative projects using CTMH products.
The new CTMH catalog debuts soon.
There are a lot of items being retired,
so get them while you still can.

This month I'm using papers from the True Love paper pack for some girly cards.

I added some of the Mix In papers for the second card.
The words are on the CTMH Artiste and Artbooking Cricut cartridges.

Now, since this is a blog hop,
you might have arrived here from  Marie Flayer's blog.
Your next stop is Krista Hershberger's blog.

The hop is circular.

If you are just starting here,

simply continue hopping until you find your way back,
making the full circle.
Meanwhile, I'm going to enter the following challenges:

Butterfly Card

This morning I packed up all my craft supplies in preparation for our trip back north.  It will be sad to leave the sunny weather and my wonderful friends here.  But, I have a new great grandaughter, who I have yet to meet, and equally wonderful friends at home.
Today I thought I'd share this Smile card with you.  I saw something similar online and was intrigued with how the butterfly is attached on the inside of the card and is poked through a 1/4 inch slot so it also shows on the front of the card.
Challenges:
CCEE Stampers Challenge 1912 -  surprise element
Aud Sentiments Challenge #223 - Any Sentiment except Happy Birthday
Cut It Up Challenge #170 - Flowers

Smile Birthday Card

Yesterday I began working on a wrap card for the CTMH Joyful Stars Blog Hop next week.  Today, as I was assembling it, I accidentally applied the glue to the wrong side of the patterned paper.  Luckily, I also needed to make a birthday card.  And the paper that had glue all over it became the center section of this card.
Papers are all from CTMH; smile die came free with my new cuttlebug; and flower dies are from MFT.
Inside sentiment is....
It's Your Birthday.

Challenges:

Crafty Ctaz Challenge #447 - AG with option Lots of Layers
