So yesterday I saw a card on FB that I thought was so pretty and wanted to CASE it. Only one problem.... I didn't have the die that was used on the card. I sent a picture of the card to a crafting buddy and told her my dilemma. To which she replied, 'what die? I just see lines and sparkles'.
This card is nothing like the card I saw on FB. Instead of using a die for the background I just got out a pen, a ruler, and some remains of a sheet of Dazzles. Who needs the die?
This card was made with the intent of entering it in the current Double Trouble Challenge # 149

Additional challenges I am entering:
Park Hopping, My Happy Place October Challenge - Inspired by a Theme Park
Crafting Happiness Challenge #147 - Halloween
Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge - October AG
Thanks for stopping by.
This week the Double Trouble Challenge #146 theme
is Something, Anything, and Everything.
(aka Anything Goes)
I whipped up a Halloween card
to add to my SAS4Kids donation box,
Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #622,
which I am also entering.
Using washi tape for the stripes made the card super easy. The stamps are from CTMH. The tiny spiders were heat embossed using some Ranger black sparkle ep and then fussy cut.
Wishing you a lovely day, without spiders.
Thanks for visiting.
Instead of what most people consider normal trail mix, often referred to as GORP, Double Trouble Challenge is encouraging crafters to combine items in their stash to make Scrapper's Gorp and use it on their cards.
I was checking on things in my Fall/Halloween stash for another project and decided I had plenty of GORP with which to work right there. The scrap of pumpkin paper was perfect to start building my card. Dotted pumpkins, striped pumpkins, solid pumpkins, that works.
From there I just added a bit of diamond patterned paper, according to the sketch supplied by Try It On Tuesday Challenge. The framed sentiment and spider are old CTMH stamps. The shaped label is a cut from the CTMH Artiste cartridge. And I used 2 different embossing folders for double patterns on the background.
Now I'm going to submit it to:
(see details on the graphic above)

Halloween Cuteness is the challenge theme at
Double Trouble Challenge # 95.
This Halloween card uses a cute digital image from
Fred She Said called Halloween Rosey.
| (I used the precolored version of the digi, SU die cuts and CTMH sentiment.) |
I thought this would be a
"cheerful and cute approach" to Halloween
as requested by Troublemaker at the Double Dare Challenge. For Twisted Sister there is a strip of washi tape across the bottom of the card and also under the sentiment. And Double Dare will be pleased to see that I am also entering the Halloween Fun Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #530.
Thanks for visiting.
It is amazing what gets buried in our stashes. Last evening, while searching for a certain stamp, which I eventually did find, I came across this one by Stampendous.
I followed the TMS for this week,
colored the image and white pearls with markers, added 3 strips of washi tape and a bow using some fun ribbon from DL.Art. The sentiment is from CTMH.
