Many Thanks

Hi!

It’s Monday and I have a card up on The Rubber Cafe’s blog using the fabulous Paris Nights Background stamp. Love this one. :)

Many thanks paris 1

It is stamped with Hero Arts wet cement (new favorite ink!) on MME Indie Chick patterned paper.

The dress form is from the Steampunk set and the beautiful sentiment is Many Thanks!

Many thanks paris 2

The card is based on last week’s Retro Sketches – always seems to be to late these days… :)

Thanks for stopping by and thank you for the support! It means so much to me!

Happy Birthday card

Hi all! I have quite a few birthdays coming up so I thought I’d start making a stash.

Happy Birthday 1

I used some gorgeous Prima papers from the Fairy Rhymes collection and stamps from The Rubber Cafe. The clock is from the Vintage Treasures set and the sentiment from Fruit Medley set.I slaughtered a candle decoration for the flower.

Happy Birthday 2

I used this week’s sketch from CAS(E) this sketch:

Thank You

Happy Monday folks!

I’m up on The Rubber Cafe blog today with a thank you card using Blossom Branch and the butterfly from Vintage Treasure set. Two favorites. :) And I teamed them up with some gorgeous Prima papers.

Thank you Butterfly 1

Both branch and butterfly are stamped with Scrap Happy Glue and covered with You’re so fine glitter – black licorice. As usual, it doesn’t photograph well, but it shimmers beautifully.

Thank you butterfly 2

And here is a second card I did a while back for The Rubber Cafe.

You are 1

The sentiment and camera are from the Picture perfect set, and the photo frame is from Pictures framed set. I split the sentiment and put the last part inside the card.

You are 3

Have a great new week!

We had a wonderful time. ♥♥♥

Today it’s back to business. And I have a card for The Rubber Café to share.

Thank you dragonfly 1

I used some old Pink Paislee papers and teemed it up with the most amazing dragonfly ever: Large Paisley Dragonfly.

Check it out!

Thank you dragonfly 3

I painted part of the dragonfly with Scrap Happy Glue and rubbed in You’re so Fine Glitter – Silver Medal. It shimmers!!!

Thank you dragonfly 2

I used this sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday

Well Preserved

Hi! Happy Monday!

I made a tag pocket birthday card for today’s The Rubber Cafe post. The tag is well hidden…

You are well preserved 1

…but it’s there! Simply lift the lid.

You are well preserved 2

I adore this Mini Jar stamp. It’s super cute and I really like that the jar and the lid are separated in two stamps.

I also used a stamp from the Card Labels set and the sentiments are from the Fruit Medley set.

You are well preserved 3

I used some Kool Tak Foam Tape to make the pocket and to adhere the panel to the card base. Gives some nice dimension.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Kraft + Black = ♥

Hi! Happy Monday! I have two cards for The Rubber Cafe to share today. I’ve been playing with Kraft cardstock and a few stamps. Love the Kraft and black combo!

Kraft 1

I used the same background stamp for both cards – the Pattern Royale. And the flowers are made with the Rose Creations Die from Spellbinders. I stamped the paper with Script Background first.

Love

Hi!

For this week's The Rubber Cafe DT post I have an 8 x 8 layout to share today. I’ve started this smaller album to scrap the random photos that I don’t tend to scrap otherwise. Here is one of the pages I’ve made so far. It’s my boy with his iPad.

Love layout 1 2

I went crazy with the stamps on this one. The background is made with the Don't be Wishy Washi set by The Rubber Cafe.

Love layout 2

The polaroid frame (yes it's a favorite!!!) is from the Pictures Framed set and the date block, title and flower in the upper right corner are all from the Remember This Moment set.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a fab new week!!!

Treat Box

Hi! Happy Monday!

For today’s blog post over at The Rubber Cafe I made a sweet little treat box.  I used an old chocolate box as a template, and it worked out really great and it was super easy to make.

Love box 1

I stamped the white Pugnacious Signature paper with 18th Century Proclamation all around the box and heat embossed it. Then I went over it all with Distress inks and sprayed it with Glimmer mist. It got this glimmering look that is almost metallic.

Love box 3

The LOVE sentiment is from Pictures Framed set and it is also heat embossed. The butterfly comes from Butterfly Set. The pearls ended up a bit out of line, but it’s fixed now. Too dark to take new photos though.

Love box 2

I have a full tutorial with template up on The Rubber Café Blog, you can find it HERE if interested.

My google went back to normal last night. I think. 2000+ posts from the past week showed up in my reader. Might come more since it was gone for a while.

Love Always

Hi! Happy Monday!

I thought a love themed card would be a good idea for today’s The Rubber Cafe project. I wanted to use the Love Always sentiment stamp and teamed it up with the Pictures Framed and Don’t be Wishy Washy.

Love always 1

I stamped and clear embossed the sentiment on a piece of scrap patterned paper and framed it with the cut out Pictures Framed stamp. I masked some washy tape stamps on the panel and added a piece of fabric tape and a button to finish it off.

Love always 2

My google reader has gone crazy. Most of the blogs I’m following are gone and my new posts isn’t up on other people’s readers either. Grrr. I’ll look into it but I have so much else on my (and my family’s) plate right now so I just wish things like this would work.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Masculine Valentines Card

Hi!
Happy, happy Monday!

Hope you all had a great weekend! I did, we went to visit my parents and it was soooo good to see them. ♥♥♥

Today's card is a masculine Valentines Day Card with no Valentines products what so ever. :) Instead I went with a loving sentiment and used the fabulous Wood Grain background stamp from The Rubber Cafe.

I used the clear emboss technique and I really like the result.

The canvas tag is from Maya Road and the flower is from Petaloo.

Would you like to work with awesome red rubber like this Wood Grain stamp? Now is your chance! The Rubber Cafe is having a DT call out!  All info can be found HERE!

Joy is a flower

Hi! Happy Monday!

Here is my card I did for this week’s post over at The Rubber Cafe. I can’t get enough of the Pictures Framed set. I used it with a masked piece of the large rose from the Rose Garden set.

Joy 1

I painted the rose part of the stamp with Scrap Happy Glue and covered it all up with You’re so fine glitter so it really sparkles.

Joy 3

All the papers are from MME. Love the colors! :) Sentiment is from the Friends set.

I used a sketch from Molly’s Scrapbooking’s crop. But to late to enter it. But it was a great sketch!

Christmas Card with Pine Trees

Hi! Happy Monday!

Hope you had a good weekend! I did – we went “home” and met up with my parents and my brother and his family. ♥♥♥ Now I’m back and after three crazy weeks, it’s about time to catch up big time. I don’t know where to start, really, but I guess it’s just to dig into it. :)

Today’s card is a Christmas card for The Rubber Cafe. I played some with distress inks, water and a Maya mist on water color paper to get a winter-ish sky background. I then had some fun stamping with Large Pine Tree and It’s a Blizzard Outside and embossing with some white embossing powder. I let the pine trees dry some so that they didn’t get full coverage. Some dark green tree is somewhere beneath the snow.

Merry Christams

Merry Christmas 2_redigerad-1

The sentiment is Merry Christmas (Bold) and the decorations used are a flower from Riddersholm Design, Twine and some Jellie Dots – Crystal Clear.

Back in Business

Hi! Happy Monday! I’m back from almost a week in Berlin and let me tell you – that is one amazing city. I’m in love! :) I was attending a conference that was superb and extremely hectic, so not much time for sightseeing. But I saw enough to know I have to take my boys there real soon. And the food… well, I think knödeln will grow on you over time. Maybe. But I’m not sure about the Shank. Imagine the shock when half a pig with bones and all was served… The meat inside was delicious though. Still… The beer and Döner Kebab was excellent! :)

Shank

I have more photos but that will have to wait till later this week, now I have today’s card for The Rubber Cafe to share. I got some new yummy MME papers in blue and yellow and it felt like a blue summer sky and sun and thought I’d play with that feeling in contrast to all the Seasonal cards I’ve been doing lately.
It’s a Miss you card, so any colors should do – right! :)

Miss you 2

The beautiful butterfly stamp is called Small Trailing Butterflies and is a favorite of mine. You’ve seen it before if you visit my blog on a regular basis. I stamped it multiple times on patterned papers and layered them for some dimension. A pearl in the centers gives the butterflies some sparkle…

Miss you 3

The sentiment stamp is from Fabulous Phrases.
Miss you 1

I used a sketch from a few weeks back from Try Stampin’ on Tuesday – I didn’t find the time to play then, but I really liked the sketch.

And before I go – I had +1000 posts in my reader when I got home yesterday. The internet connection was ridiculously expensive in Berlin so I couldn’t keep up. And I wont have the time to back track. A new crazy week. So I’m sorry that I’ve missed all of your activity the past week.

Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely new week!

Many Thanks!

Hi! Happy Monday!

I find that I can’t have too many Thank You cards. So many nice people out there that deserves a heartfelt thanks now and again! So here is a sparkling card with soft grey and blue nuances using Many Thanks and Butterfly Set, both from The Rubber Cafe.

Man Thanks butterflies
I stamped the butterflies on patterned paper and cut out and mounted them on circle die cuts. They also got a nice coat of sparkling You’re So Fine Glitter – Diamond Clear Cool Highlight. I used some Scrap happy sheer glue thinned with some water to get a nice thin coat of glue for the glitter to stick. I went over the flowers too with the same procedure. Difficult to capture on photo…
