My beautiful Mom!

I got a bag of yummy vintage goodies from Handarbeta to work with as my first DT assignment.

When I saw this Melissa Frances paper I knew that I finally would be scrapping my favorite photo ever – the photo of my mom as a child. She is soooo beautiful!

I love how this one came out and I hope my  mom will like it!

I couldn’t have done it without the inspiration from Li-bee ti! We are having another mutual challenge round, and this time my challenge was to lift a layout of the other, trying to capture both our styles in the lift.

I choose this beauty to lift. And I guess you see that I lifted the over all design and the wonderful vintage style. I loved how she used the same photo three times, and since this photo of mom is a favorite, it was PERFECT!

More details about this page can be found on the Handarbeta Blog (in Swedish). I’ve also made a list there of all supplies used.

Here are a couple of close ups:

New DT for Handarbeta

Hi folks! We are having a beautiful sunny morning today. It’s the last day at daycare for my dear son, then he’ll start his real summer holiday. He is excited, cause we are going to Liseberg (which is an amusement park in Gothenburg) tomorrow. Just the two of us. I’m excited too, but not as much if you get the point…

I have great news today! I was asked to join the fun and creative DT ladies over at Handarbeta! Wohoo!

I got a goodie bag filled with beautiful vintage stuff last week and have had some fun the last couple of days to be able to make my first blog post today. The papers are from Melissa Frances. Yummy!!! All the info about products used can be found on the Handarbeta Blog.

I used the fab sketch #69 over at Card Patterns. LOVE this sketch, so much fun!!!

Detail with the beautiful pin – I’m in love with this pin! LOL!

HejNext card is based on the lovely sketch #20 from Our Creative Corner.   I do wish me the big scalloped edge punch, but a button, pen and a scissors works as well…

Thanks for letting me share!

Have a great day!
