Believe

Happy Monday!

I have a quick card to share today. I am working from home and treated myself with an hour lunch break spent by my craft table. I love my work! :)

It’s another Christmas card, I’m playing along with Jingle Belles again this week.

Believe

The challenge prompt is We Three Kings – to use at least three patterned papers. I used some fab Christmas Song papers from Riddersholm Design. The stamps and die are from Heartfelt Creations.

I used this week’s sketch from Mojo Monday. Love it! :)

And I’m entering it in Simon Says Wednesday Challenge – anything goes.

Back to work for another hour or so. Have a great new week!

Happy Holidays

Hello everyone! Happy Friday!

I’ve started on my Christmas cards. Love making them, they are my favorite themed card. It was pure joy to bring out the holiday stash. I found this beautiful MME paper which I’ve hoarded for I don’t know how long.Three years or. Time to use it! :)

Happy Holidays 2

I’ve used Amy’s fab sketch from Jingle Belles.

It’s a great one – perfect for clean and simple and quick cards (this one took like 15 minutes). Most of the card is done once the paper is glued down to the card base. I added a stamp and some lace and twine. Done.

Happy Holidays 3

My second card is this week’s Reprint project. I used the cutest little bear stamp and Reprint Basic Collection Pastel 6x6.

 Björnen sover 1

A close up. :) I stamped the bear twice, colored it with distress ink and layered them to get some action.

Have a fab day!

Heartfelt Wednesday

Hi! Only a few days left to Christmas and I am so ready! Most of the have to:s are done. Yay! Me and the boy made fudge yesterday and it ended up out of this world yummy. We are giving it away, so we decided for another batch this evening – for our mouths only… :)

Today’s Heartfelt Creations’ project is Christmas themed. I pulled out the Book Frame 1 set and had some fun. I love this set.

Oh Holy night 1

All the stamping is copper embossed. I love the warm shiny look of it.

Holy night 2

I stamped the Frame multiple times and layered to get the dimensional feeling of an actual book. Here are the full instructions:

HC Products: HCPC 3415 Petite Poinsettia PreCut Set, HCPC 3433 Book Frame 1 PreCut Set, HCPC 3430 Shepherd Scene PreCut Set, HCD 728 Timeless Amour Die, Spellbinders Fancy Framed Tags One. Other: Pugnacious Signature Paper Crème, Black card stock, Green and white patterned paper scraps. Embossing ink, Vintage photo Distress ink, Copper embossing powder, red satin ribbon, copper pearls and red rhinestones. Glue and foam tape.

Instructions: Make card from cardstock and ink the edges. Die cut two Timeless Amour dies. Stamp Book Frame once on patterned paper and heat emboss with copper embossing powder. Cut out. Stamp the same stamp three times on crème cardstock and emboss. Stamp note stamp in the center of one of the frames. Cut out the book pages (inside the actual frame) and ink edges. Layer book pages and adhere to book frame. Adhere the die cut Timeless Amour dies behind the book with foam tape. Stamp and heat emboss sentiment on cardstock. Die cut with Fancy Framed Tags One and ink edges. Adhere pearls and rhinestones. Ad to book with foam tape. Stamp and emboss three Petite Poinsettia flowers, cut out and ink edges. Ad rhinestones to centers and ad to book. Tie a bow of red satin ribbon and adhere to book. Adhere book to card base.

As every Wednesday, the Heartfelt Creations blog is chock full of gorgeous project by the Design Team. You find it HERE:

Christmas Cards

Hi! T.G.I.F! :)

Friday at last. I have another busy day at work ahead of me, BUT – I’ll meet up with an old friend for a “long time no see” After Work chit chat. Cava, seafood and catching up is on the program and I can’t wait. :)

I’m still working on my Christmas cards… Yeah, I know… Need to get these babies OUT! Last year I decided to make them ahead, following one or many of the year long Christmas challenges. I didn’t do one… Next year!

Anyway, this week I whipped up a batch of cards. I did in all six of these, using a few old stamps from I don’t know where. I only know that the Santa and the inside fellow are from Swedish manufacturers and sadly underused.

Merry Christmas 1

I had a plan of keeping it simple and with few layers. I kept it simple but few layers is a failure. I ended up with 4 layers on the outside and 2 layers on the inside, except the cardbase… I simply need to mat my paper.

Merry Christmas 2

I used Basic Grey Aspen Frost papers. I LOVE these papers. The colors are wonderful, and the snowflake patterned paper is one of my all time favorite seasonal papers. ♥♥♥

Here is the sketch from Try Stampin’ on Tuesday that I used:

Merry Christmas 3

Here is another card using the same papers:

Klockor

Some serious fussy cutting on this one. The stamp is from Heartfelt Creations. I used this sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp.

Have a FAB Friday! Thank you for stopping by!!!

Riddersholm’s Christmas Challenge

Hi!

The coming weeks until Christmas, Riddersholm Design is hosting a weekly Seasonal challenge going live every Sunday. It’s open for everyone world wide and you do not need to use Riddersholm’s papers. We start this up really easy – any Christmas project goes! :)

And I’m such a dork, or simply crazy busy, or both, I never got it that the sign above wasn’t a sketch… It’s my tenth blond moment this weekend alone. I’m slowly going down…

Anyway, it worked pretty well as a sketch, and I do like my card though I once again went berserk with the snow pen. Note to self – stay CLEAR of the snow pen!

Silent Night 1

I so love this year’s Christmas papers from Riddershom – A Christmas Story. They have this warm and vintage look that is so perfect for any seasonal project. On this card I teamed them up with some Heartfelt Creations stamps: The Petite Poinsettia PreCut Set and Poinsettia Bells and Bows PreCut Set.

Silent Night 2

Some glitter on the sentiment and on the flowers. Then BAM snow pen! :)

Love the canvas tags!

Silent Night 3

We hope to see you play along with us this week. Anything Christmas-y goes! Link up your blog post HERE!

Thanks for stopping by!

I’ll be back in a few hours with The Rubber Café’s New Release Blog Hop. Hope to see you back then!

Christmas Card with Pine Trees

Hi! Happy Monday!

Hope you had a good weekend! I did – we went “home” and met up with my parents and my brother and his family. ♥♥♥ Now I’m back and after three crazy weeks, it’s about time to catch up big time. I don’t know where to start, really, but I guess it’s just to dig into it. :)

Today’s card is a Christmas card for The Rubber Cafe. I played some with distress inks, water and a Maya mist on water color paper to get a winter-ish sky background. I then had some fun stamping with Large Pine Tree and It’s a Blizzard Outside and embossing with some white embossing powder. I let the pine trees dry some so that they didn’t get full coverage. Some dark green tree is somewhere beneath the snow.

Merry Christams

Merry Christmas 2_redigerad-1

The sentiment is Merry Christmas (Bold) and the decorations used are a flower from Riddersholm Design, Twine and some Jellie Dots – Crystal Clear.

Merry Christams 3

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a great new week!
