Happy Monday!
I have a quick card to share today. I am working from home and treated myself with an hour lunch break spent by my craft table. I love my work! :)
It’s another Christmas card, I’m playing along with Jingle Belles again this week.
The challenge prompt is We Three Kings – to use at least three patterned papers. I used some fab Christmas Song papers from Riddersholm Design. The stamps and die are from Heartfelt Creations.
I used this week’s sketch from Mojo Monday. Love it! :)
And I’m entering it in Simon Says Wednesday Challenge – anything goes.
Back to work for another hour or so. Have a great new week!

Together
Happy Wednesday! I’m up on the Reprint blog today with a card made of a paper I totally adore. Love, love, love the soft text pattern and the rose buds along the edges. I knew I’d use it at once I saw retrosketches #133.
The sentiment and butterflies are embossed with copper. Kept the design clean to let the paper and embossed stamps shine.
Here is the fab sketch:
I have a second card to share. I’ve been playing with my Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps. It was a long time ago and I’ve missed them. I teamed up a few of my favorite sets and had some fun.
I used this great sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches:
I’m also entering the card in Creatalicious Challenge – flowers. I meant to use a lot more flowers, but the clean gene hit me. On the other side, the one flower is the center. :)
Thank you for stopping by! Have a fab day!

Best mom in the world
I’m a bit rusty and my try at a shabby chick look is not the best ever. I think (hope) she likes it anyway. I pulled out some old favorites – papers, flower stamps and flower dies from Heartfelt creations and some sadly neglected sets from PTI.

Reprint projects
Helloooo! I have two projects to share today. The card is last week’s Reprint project, using last week’s Seize the sketch. Too late to play, but the sketch was a good one!
I simply adore this stamp with the lovely angels. I double stamped them and added some color to their cheeks and some stickles to their wings and the stars. They sparkle.
Products used: Papers: RP0103 Cherish, RP0107 Queen of heart, pink and grey cardstock. Stamp: EZR052. Ink: Versa Fine Onyx Black. Decorations: CR20610 Rhea Brun, CR23364 Burlap twines, R0794 Vita Pearls. Other: EP001 Clear.
Next up is a decorated paper bag filled with Easter candy. Yummy. I’ll give it away to a special friend tomorrow.
Products used: Paper: RP0080 Happyeaster. Stamp: EZ036 Påsk kramar. Ink: Versa Fine Onyx Black. Other: Paper bag, doily, white roses, Distress marker - Victorian Velvet.

Getting lucky…
Happy Sunday!
I’ve been playing in my scrap room today just for fun. So love that!!! Might be a sign of me getting back on track when comes to crafting. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for that one!
And since I was playing for fun, I dug up my mists and a new (or rather never used) template and totally made a mess of me, my desk and my phone…
I’ve been planning on using these stamps from Skipping Stones Design but haven’t dared to use them until now. But the soon to be 45 year old who will receive this will take it good. And he deserves it… :)
I’m playing along with CAS-ual Fridays this week.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs and Kisses
My boy is away on winter break all week. He is being spoiled rotten by his grandparents. And I miss him badly. *Sigh* So, today I made them all a card wishing them a fun week together. I used my boy’s all time favorite stamp. He picked it for me a few years ago, and he asks me now and again if I’ve used it lately… Now I can honestly say yes!
I used this fabbie sketch from Sunday sketch and stamp.

In dreams
Hi! Hope you are having a lovely weekend! We are at home, cleaning, gardening (between the showers) washing. All the things that have been neglected because of a crazy work life. It feels good. I finally feel like I’m slowly about to catch up on things! YAY!
AND! Best of all, I have had time to play!!! Here is a card just because!
I played along with this week’s Featured Stamper challenge over at SCS. I loved THIS card and had to try the vellum pocket design.
I knew I had some vellum pockets somewhere. But after a good 20 minutes search I gave up and made my own out of plain vellum (and also realized that reorganizing would be a good idea).
Here is a close up of the Hibiscus flower from the Hibiscus 2 Clear Stamps Set from Prickley Pear. The sentiment In dreams and the little flower border from Hot Air Balloon Clear Stamps Set are also from Prickley Pear.
And finally, the inside. Decorated with a Mini Hibiscus from the same set.
Thanks for stopping by!

I have two projects to share today! First up is a card where I’ve played with amazing metallic gelatos! Yummy!!!
I did the blue background pieces by making a mix of blue metallic gelato and water and simply paint a piece of white cardstock. I used a quite thick mix that gives a good cover. It shines beautifully!!!
I filled a mini mister with what was left and now I have a perfect light blue glimmery mist for future projects!
Here is a close up on the stamped background, I painted the big 18th Century Proclamation background stamp with different shades of blue and green Stamper’s Big Brush Pens and stamped it on the gelato piece.
The Small Trailing Butterflies are also colored with Stamper’s Big Brush Pens: green and orange. These pens are AMAZING! They can be used as ordinary markers, BUT they can be used with water before they set which makes shading a piece of cake!!!
The Stamper´s Big Brush Pens are great for stamping too. Perfect when one wants different colors on one stamp or, like here, one want to stamp only part of a bigger stamp. Like the butterflies in the top right corner.
I had super fun trying a few new (to me) techniques! On my second card I used my wonderful Aquarelle Watercolor pencils. I looove those!
The stamps used on this card are from the Home is Where Your Cat Sleeps set.
I did this card for the Gingham Challenge over at the Moxie Fab World!!!
For your next stop on the hop, you’ll be visiting Rita!

Happy Monday!
I had the best of weekends! For sure. A super fun party on Friday after a great dissertation act, no hang over on Saturday and no work all weekend. To make it even better, mom and dad was here visiting and it’s always soooo nice to have them around. ♥♥♥
When they left, I started on the cards for the coming week, like this card for Prickley Pear.
Lot’s of Prickley Pear goodies on this one: Dragonfly from the new Butterflies 2 Clear Stamps Set, cut out with the Dragonfly Die. The dragonfly is copper embossed and sparkles really nice.Likewise with the leafs which are from the Hibiscus 2 Clear Stamps Set, cut out with the Hibiscus Flower and Leaf Die. The sentiment is from the new Hearts 2 Clear Stamps set and finally, loads of stains made with my all time favorite Coffee Stain (good ol’ red rubber).
This card started out as a take on this week’s great Card Patterns sletch – which is sponsored by Prickley Pear!!! But I strayed… A lot. :)
Oh well, I had fun and the sketch helped get my mojo working.
If you want more Prickley Pear inspiration The Prickley Pear Blog is shock full of gorgeous DT projects today. :)

Prickley Pear Monday
Hi all!
A week since my last blog post… That says a lot about my life right now. I hope things will calm down in two weeks when the spring term is over and the University is cleared out of students… I miss having regular craft time!
I did have fun yesterday though, I simply closed my eyes for all the “need to do’s” and made THREE cards! YAY! Here is the first one, done for Prickley Pear using the oh so darling Love Owls.
Other stamps used are the flower from Hibiscus 2 Clear Stamps Set cut out with the Mini Hibiscus Die and the sentiment A Little Bird Told Me.
The eyes are covered with glossy accent and I added some Glimmer Glam on the moon and on the flower for some sparkle.
I used this week’s Card Patterns’ sketch:

Balance…
…is a good thing. I need it. My friend needs it. So a Balance CAS card it is.
I used some favorite papers right now, simply ADORE the colors and small beautiful patterns of these Echo Park babies.
I tried to decorate the card but everything I tried messed with balance and energy so let’s say it’s more of a feng shui sort of card. Less is more, energy rules.
I love this stamp from the Rubber Café. It’s called Small Trailing Butterflies and is adorable. I paper pieced it and popped a few of them up with a second layer go get the air under their wings.
The sentiment is from the Asian Floral set, also from The Rubber Café.
The card is based on Card Patterns’ sketch #165. ♥
…
Off for work. I’m having a lecture about Adam Smith and invisible and visible hands using a new fun tool – prezi.com. But I’m not sure if my students will end up seasick or if' it will keep them awake. Loads of zooming will take place… Fun part – my prezi ended up looking like a selection of scrapbook pages… ha! Good thing when the time to actually scrap does not exist!

Prickley Pear Monday
Hi folks! Almost a week since I last blogged. Times flies! And I’m never at home. Sigh. Anyway, I have a few projects to share from the Crop I attended last weekend (had sooooo much fun!!!!) but I’ll save that for tomorrow and share today’s Prickley Pear project. My fellow Riddershom Design DT Mona Gry made such a beautiful Double Pocket Bag card a while ago and I had to try it out! So here is my take.
I used a beautiful paper from Pink Paislee Nantucket teamed up with some Kraft details. Blue and brown = ♥. I didn’t have the “right” ribbon, so I colored some white satin ribbon with my Distress stains Old paper. I’m not sure you can see it, but it' turned out with a perfect color to go with the bag (which is more greenish than shows on the photo, bad lightning).
Here is a close up of the stamp Music Printers Label. Such a gorgeous stamp. You can Hcolor it and it will turn out wonderful, but it works “plain” too. It has such details"! I had plans of a vintage/shabby bag with loads of embellies, but once I saw the label matted on a kraft doily it was done. Quick and easy. Love that!
I’m just home for a day, tomorrow I’ll hit the roads again. Sorry if it was a while since I last visited you. I’m working on expanding both my craft time and my computer time. Maybe some day… I’ll take a tour later tonight.
The Prickley Pear blog is filled with gorgeous creations by the amazing DT – I’m so happy to be part of it! :) Go check it out! HERE! :)

Prickley Pear Monday
Happy Monday!!! Hope the weekend was a good one!
Today’s card is for Prickley Pear.
I tried to go vintage after a series of CAS cards. It was fun, and I also got to use up some last scraps from the fabbie Bo Bunny’s Gabrielle paper pad. I love this Sewing ad stamp.
The banner is from the Hot Air Balloon Clear Stamps Set. And I also used the Coffee Stain on both banner and ad.
I used Card Patterns’ sketch 162. Another great one!
The Prickley Pear blog is filled with Design Team inspiration. Go check it out! :)
Have a great day!!!

Hello Sunshine
Happy Sunday! Hope you are having a good weekend! Yesterday we woke up to snow (!) but today things are starting to look like spring again. Life is good! :)
A quick CAS card today.
With a sun theme! :)
Love this card! Took me like 20 minutes tops, uses scrap paper from my favorite paper pad right now (Echo Park This & That) and turned out better than I had pictured it in my head. Yay!
I did this card for Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper challenge. I used THIS card as my inspiration.
The stamps used are Cocoa Daisy (arrow) and Verve Stamps (sentiment).
Time to make dinner!

A little bird told me
Hi folks! Hope the weekend’s been great! We had a calm couple of days at home with work (a HUGE pile of tests to grade, yikes!) some dvds and a few hours of crafting. Spring finally came with both sun and warmth so we’ve truly enjoyed that too. :)
Here is today’s card using some fabbie MME papers teamed up with Prickley Pear Stamps: Build a Bird Clear Stamps Set and A little bird told me.
I thought I’d play along with this week’s Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger (like I so often do, except I almost always miss deadline… And I’m pretty close doing it now too… :P ). Love these little birds and beautiful blue and green color combo.
The design is based on the new fabbie sketch over at Card Patterns.
The Prickley Pear Blog is filled with more porjects using the Prickley Pear stamps if you’d like to take a peek and be inspired. The Design Team is AMAZING!!! :)
