Reprint projects

Helloooo! I have two projects to share today. The card is last week’s Reprint project, using last week’s Seize the sketch.  Too late to play, but the sketch was a good one!

I simply adore this stamp with the lovely angels. I double stamped them and added some color to their cheeks and some stickles to their wings and the stars. They sparkle.

Products used: Papers: RP0103 Cherish, RP0107 Queen of heart, pink and grey cardstock. Stamp: EZR052. Ink: Versa Fine Onyx Black. Decorations:  CR20610 Rhea Brun, CR23364 Burlap twines, R0794 Vita Pearls. Other: EP001 Clear.

Next up is a decorated paper bag filled with Easter candy. Yummy. I’ll give it away to a special friend tomorrow.

Products used: Paper: RP0080 Happyeaster. Stamp: EZ036 Påsk kramar. Ink: Versa Fine Onyx Black. Other: Paper bag, doily, white roses, Distress marker  - Victorian Velvet.

Matchbox

Hi! Today was back to work day and let me tell you, I wouldn’t mind having a couple of more days off! :)

Yesterday was a lovely day spent with the family. We went to the movies and saw Hobbit. It was great! I also got some me time in my scrap room, making a few projects for Mollys Scrapbooking’s cyber crop that started yesterday. First challenge that caught my eyes was to alter a matchbox. Perfect! I’ve had a matchbox sitting on my desk since November. I planned making a Christmas gift out of it, but I never found the time. So instead of a gift, it ended up in my kitchen, and I’m really happy about that! :)

Papers used are Basic Grey Aspen Frost and that amazing stamp is from Momas lil’ shop of stamps. It’s colored with Distress markers and fussy cut.

I used the new Dragonflies 2 Clear Stamps Set that coordinates with the Dragonfly Die.

In the box I’ve put a little card and a little chocolate bar. A girl needs her chocolate!

Sorry for bad photo, the sun was so bright, and shadows sooo deep. Impossible to get a decent photo! But I’m not complaining – The SUN, haven’t seen that one for a while so I’m fully enjoying it!

I used my all time favorite flowers: Botanical Floral 1 and Botanical Floral 2 with the coordinated Spellbinders dies Rose Creations Shapeabilities.

The papers are all from Riddersholm Design – Chantilly Dawn collection.

The sentiment is from the Inspire Me Sentiments Pre Cut Set.

I’ve bought a wonderful scented soap from the Eco store that will fit in the box and I hope my friend will enjoy this.

LESSology #12 Photo Block Challenge

First – TGIF!!!!! Sitting here relaxing with a cold, dry wonderful white wine and feel like there is light in the tunnel. :) What a week. What a day! But it’s been good, I’ve made some huge progress work wise, I’m up to date with most of my tasks (except my thesis…) and there might be a national test for the 6th graders next year! YAY!

LESSology launched the Photo Block Challenge on Monday!

Here is my take on the Photo Blocks challenge. I did a 2x2x2 block with photos from our summer vacation last year and a nice sentiment to go. Lots of green, such a happy color! Thought this would take us through the last month until next vacation...

As a base for my block, I used an old jewelry box. It was blue and a little thin, so I started with painting the corners with white gesso and cover it all with cardstock go get a sturdy structure.
