GC124 is looking for Black and Gray, so no big surprise that we are headed over there! The
Three Muses Challenge is Vintage Collage Memories and I will be entering there for the first time!
For my contribution all stamps are from
Artistic Outpost. The
Gatsby collection is one of my favorites and I thought it was just perfect for "Times Gone By." The handsome gentleman, champagne bottles and sentiment were stamped on white using Archival Jet Black, heat set and shaded with gray! I stamped the car in craft black on gray and then clear embossed. The bottles and car were fussy cut, so fun! I cut photo corners from Tim Holtz ATC die on black and then shaded with white craft ink and clear embossed. This gives it a nice gray color! Added some brads that I distressed. The black panels around the gentleman, sentiment and designer paper were also distressed to give that extra aged feel. I used the "clipped corners" technique from the
Technique Junkies for my main image.
