Have a hippo birthday

Hi, hi!!!

This is my card for the 5th day at Bugaboo celebration.

The image is a Meljen's one. I colored it with my new markers and I cut it with a circle die cut. The pink cardstock mat I cut it with a scallop circle die. For the background I used purple corrugated cardstock and more pink cardstock to mat it. I did the sentiment in the computer. I used flower ribbon and pink rhinestones to embellish the card.

Thank you card (01)

Hello!
These days I will be making a few "thank you" cards, I need to thank some people and also some friends asked me to do some Thank You cards for them...
This is the first I'll show you:

The image is by Meljen, I have this image for long time, it was a freebie a couple of years ago and I think it's retired already, but I really love it... I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I used a green mat.

I used only cardstock, and a dot embossing folder (Sizzix).

I used decorated Scotch tape, I used a punch and orange cardstock to make the flowers and some bling for the centers, I glued them with foami tape.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Blast from the past

I made this card in March 2010... I can see now how I have learn a lot of things, to color, to use sketches, embellishments, and many other things.... You can see the original post HERE.

I'm posting this card because the challenge at Meljen´s this week is to show the first card using a Meljen´s image, so this is mine :)

Sensational Saturday Sketch Challenge

I made this card for Sugar Creek Hollow Challenge - Sensational Saturday Sketch Challenge.

I used plain green, orange and peach color cardstocks, yellow and orange stripes patterned cardstock, green and peach ribbon, a Meljen´s digistamp painted with aquarelable pencils and embelishments.

I think the sketch was very nice to do a good card, at least I really like the result. =)
