Photo Inspired challenge at QKR Stampede

Hello and happy Friday!
Today we have a new and fun challenge at QKR Stampede: COLOR PHOTO INSPIRED. We would like to see your greens!!!!!! This is the card I made:



And this is the picture to inspire:


I used Bathing Frog (digi 15616) and colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils. I cut it with Labels1 Spellbinders and used the same shape for the green mat.  I don't know why the bath tub and the brush look blue, but I can tell you is a green shade ;)


I used Dots and Plaid green dp by Pingüino and green cardstock.  To embellish it I used a green gingham ribbon and made a couple of dots.

Beautiful dog

Hello and happy Tuesday!
Dogs are my fav animals, actually we have a Cocker Spaniel called Chicky as a member of our family. Today, I would like to show you a card I made using a dog image as main focus:

The image is Alsatian by Fitztown. This is a freebie I won a few weeks ago and thought it would be great to make a masculine card. I colored it with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils and cut it out. Then, I used a double oval mat (white/black) to mat the image both cut with Oval die cut (Sizzix).


I used a stamped micro-corrugated cardstock (Alt) and some more cardstock. I used a balck ribbon (Crafty Ribbons) and made a knot too.

A lighthouse in the beach

Hello and happy Saturday!
Today I want to show you another card I made:


The image is by From the Heart Stamps and I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I placed it on a white cardstock mat.


For the background I didn´t use dp, I used three different colors of cardstock, in maritime combo, and I used Swirls embossing folder to give the idea of sea waves. I used a white ric-rac too. I hope you like my CAS card!!!

Polar Love

Hello and Happy Monday!
I don´t know you, but here we are having polar days... this morning we woke up at -22°C! If this continues the same we'll have a very polar Valentines' day.
I made this card for the progressive challenge at Imagine that! I went very CAS, thinking in a masculine card.


The image is called Polar Love and I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I placed it on a turquoise cardstock mat. I glittered the snow to give the bright effect.


For the background I used a blue cardstock and an embossing folder Diamond on Diamond (Sizzix). The sentiment is one that comes with the cute image and used the same turquoise carrdstock for mat.

Don't sweat it

Hello and happy Saturday!
I want to show you a new card I made for this month's progresive challenge at From the Heart Stamps:


I colored our fun Birdday friend with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils, I cut it with rectangle Nestabilities. I placed it on a yellow cardstock mat. My color choice are primary colors for this masculine card.


I used Alt dps and more yellow cardstock to mat everything and the sentiment. The only embellishment are three buttons in the primary colors

Happy birthday with balloons

Hello and happy Sunday!
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Here it have been freezing cold!!!! Brrrrrrrr............ Since Friday we are having -17/-19°C and the forecast is similar for next few days!
Anyways, I wanted to show you a new card I made:


The image is by Bugaboo and I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils and school markers. I placed it on a yellow cardstock mat.


I used Balloon dp by Folia and yellow cardstock. To embellish it I only used yellow ribbon and made three knots. I hept it simple for a male birthday card.

New Baby Boy

Hello and happy Thursday!
One friend of mine just had her first baby boy and as I had to rush to know him, I made a fast/lazy card:


The image is a precolored one that I found after googleing "baby boy" and thought I can be lazy and not coloring today.




I made a one layer card, so I printed on the card blanc. The I added with foam tape the sentiment (Netty's cards) with a small bow (skyblue ribbon) and then I made a big bow using blue gingham ribbon.

B is for birthday!!!

WOW, I am so happy with my cards this week... I really love this kind of challenges that at the end you have a great batch of cards.
I want to show you what I did for today challenge at Catch the Bug: Just kidding around make a birthday project for kids!


I colored the image with markers and Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils. I used glitter for the cake's frosting. I cut with an oval die and made the same for the blue cardstock mat.


I used Folia paper for the background and the sentiment is from Create with TLC and placed it on one corner as part of the party decoration of the paper.


The candle ribbon is by Crafty Ribbons. I made some faux stitches around the card with a blue glittered pen. I tried to make a CAS card because kids don´t need to much stuff on it, but they like fun images and lots of colors. I hope you like it!

Cupcake bear birthday card

Hello and happy Tuesday!
I am very excited for participating this week at the Birthday challenge at Catch the Bug. Last year I did and after the challenge I had many birthday's card prepared... I hope I can do all of them and have a good birthday batch too!
This is my first card for the Birthday Celebration Sketch challenge:


I colored the image with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils and  cut it out, placed it on a white circle cardstock (sizzix die) and placed it on a Kraft cardstock scallop circle (Nestabilities).


I used kraft cardstock, blue cardstock and a scrap of MME skyblue glittered dp. For the blue background I used Argyle embossing folder (Sizzix) and for the scallop stripe, Dots embossing folder (Sizzix) and scallop scissors.


To embellish it I used some blue twine (Doodlebug primary colors twine) and a kraft color button. I print the sentiment myself.

White and Blue at QKR Stampede

Hello and happy Friday!!! Yes... it´s Friday!!!!!!
Today we have a new challenge at QKR Stampede: WHITE AND BLUE, and this is the card I made:


I used the image Floating away (digi 15401) and Happy Birthday sentiment (digi 11503) and colored with Koh.i.noor aquarelable pencils.  I placed it on a blue cardstock mat.


I thought the colors were the perfect ones to make a male card. I used Folia blue gingham dp and blue cardstock with Dots embossing folder (Sizzix).


The only embellishments are a blue button and some blue embroidery thread. I kept it simple for a masculine look.
