Happy Birthday CAS 2

Hello!
This week I was asked to make a few CAS birthday cards... so this is one of the batch.

I don´t remember where I've got the image, because I printed and colored long ago... (If you know, please, let me know to give the credits to the artist).
EDITED : I just found out this image is by Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps and it's called Balloon Bear.

I used blue cardstock, a Sizzix circle die cut. I used foami tape to glue the image and a silver jelly pen to make the faux stitches. The sentiment is by Create with TLC.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Hi, again...

... this is another card I made for this week's celebration at Catch the bug. The challenge is make us laugh/funny card... I go for the second one, this elephant is very fun, but it's not a humor card :)

I colored the image with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and placed it on a green mat.

Boys card

Hello!
I would like to show you a card I made for this week's celebration at Catch the bug. This time with a masculine card.

I printed this little fellow long ago and it seems that the ink didn´t last in the paper, and I just noticed it when I made the picture... it looks weird! Anyway, I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and placed it on a green cardstock mat.

I used sky blue, green cardstock and DCWV dp. I also used a blue ribbon, a couple of buttons and some mouliné thread for them.

I may add a sentiment later on, as still don´t know how I will use it yet... maybe a "happy birthday" one!

Sweet little monster :)

Hello!
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend, for me, this one was very productive as I made four cards (yes, four!!!) I made this card just because it was the weekend for Wold Cardmaking.

I have printed this Digi Garden cutie (it was a freebie at their FB page) a few days ago and colored it with  Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. And as I colored it before chosing the papers it took me ages to select the papers for my card :(... I don´t learn that is better to chose the papers before coloring....... I distressed the edges with a turquoise ink pad and placed it on a turquoise mat.

I used paper from three different companies, maybe more, Paper Soyuz, Nikki Estes, Folia and don´t know what else, besides the cardstok, two different tones of turquoise (can you notice it?)

The only embellishment is a big turquoise button with some green embroidery thread. Hope you like the result as I did. And come back tomorrow to see the last card I made during the weekend :)

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:

Happy Birthday... (to me!)

Hello!
Today is my birthday and to celebrate I made a birthday card (but it´s not for me, hahaha...)... Anyways, I had a wonderful day, with family and friends around. I thank God for one more year of life and joy with Him.

I love "Hippo Birthday", a Pholkart Blessings digistamp by Patti Moore. I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and placed it on a green mat.

I used Folia dp, two different birthday inspired Folia papers. I also used red and green cardstock. I used red ribbon to complete the sketch and I think my card is ready!

I hope you like my card...

Digi Makeover Ch #51 - Inspirational photo

Hello, there!

This week our challenge at Digi Makeover blog is an Inspirational Photo: Nautical bedroom.
And today we have a guest designer: Anda (Flying Fresian), so welcome and visit her blog.

You'll see I made two cards this week, the first one has a nautical image and the same colors as our picture... I used the set "Sailing by" .

And the second one, has the colors from this photo and of course the male factor too.... For this one, "Color kid - Beyond measure".

Why? You ask me... Well, I wasn´t to happy with the first one and try to do it better, and finally I am posting both of them, hehehe... Both of them are colored with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils.

For the first card I used kraft paper as background, then I used blue, sky-blue and red cardstock. I cut the image and its mat with Sizzix circle dies. As embellishments, I used two other images from the same set, add some blue glitter to the anchor (I used foami tape for it), and the special cord is some recycled cord from a blind that broke and I saved it because I thought could be great as embellishment (...what do you think of it?)....

For the second card, I used blue, sky-blue and red cardstock, some blue gingham dp from Folia. As embellishment I used a red ribbon with white edgie stitches and blue cold porcelaine stars in two different sizes.

Challenges for card #1:

A die for sketch: sketch #3
Craft a scene: anything in the outdoors
Paper Crafting Journey: anything goes
Stampin' sisters: punches, dies or shapes
Lil red wagon: recycling (you can see the pic of the cord)
A and T: punches/dies
Ladybug: summer fun
Papelitos: masculine
My craft spot: splishy splashy (water)
Daring cardmakers: besides the sea

Challenges for card #2:

CLP: sketch #50

Fashionista: card for a child
Deep ocean: deep blue
The squirrel and the fox: one for the men
Penny's: masculine
My heart pieces: favorite color (blue)

OK, now is your turn to do a project inspired in the photo...

On Wednesday we are having a blog hop for Jennifer Scull... so please, come back and hop with us!!!!!!!!

Winter boy

As I told you in my previous post, I am inspired for today's weather (-20°C!!!! brrrrrrrrrr..................) And I need a break from Christmas card, so today I am doing winter cards :)

The image is "Winter blues" from Digi my World and I colored it with acuarelable pencils. As a mat I used a white circle that I distressed the border with a turquoise-blue ink pad. And this boy reminds me to my daughter's best friend, Elias. He is only one year older than Vicky but he is one head taller than her... he is blonde and very white and loves to play with snow!

I used kraft paper as backgroud and embossed it with "stars, circles and dots" folder (I love this one... you can see how many projects I did using this folder just browsing a little bit on December's posts) I also used two different skyblue dps and a skyblue ric-rac ribbon.

It´s cold outside!

Finally I've got time to write a blog... I am so busy almost not time to craft... but I was trying my new Sizzix Big Shot  (Yeah... I've got it!!!!) although I don´t have to many embossing plates or die cuts I was trying what I have, and LOVE IT!!!!!!!! It's so fun....

Ok, this is the first card I made using some of my new goodies...

The image is a Bugaboo Stamp freebie I've got a couple of weeks ago called Little Penguin winter (or something like it, sorry I don´t remeber very well) I colored with acuarelable pencils, then I cut with a nestabilities die cut and distressed the borders with a blue inkpad. I feel inspired by the snow... still we can´t build a snowman but everything looks white and it´s pretty cold outside!

I don´t have a snow embossing folder but this one looks like snow and thought it´s great for this little fellow.

I also used three blue metallic snowflakes with a blue gem on the center and a blue ribbon and made a bow. I'm so sorry for the pics, I made them with my cellphone as I don´t have my camera with me :(

CDAC Progressive Challenge #6 - Christmas bear

This is another card I made for the challenge at CDAC, this is round 6th and I hope to win the markers!!! :) I chose a monochromatic theme (blue) for this male card.

I colored it with acuarelable pencils and used some bling for the snow and I made some faux stitches on the edges of the image, then I mounted on a blue cardstock.

As background I used a Fiskar's embossing plate (snowflakes) on a blue cardstock {I don´t see the moment I get the Big Shot I bought few weeks ago, it´s almost here!!!}. Then I used a Printer Soyuz dp (blue + silver).

As embellishment I used a ribbon and made a double bow and put a button on top.
