I hope you are having a good week, for me it was quite busy as this was the first week of school for my daughter and having to change the summer rutine it's not easy...
As Grandparents' day is aproaching, at QKR Stampede we would like to celebrate them, and this is our challenge for this week: LET'S CELEBRATE GRANDPARENTS! and this is the card I made:
I used the image Best Friends (11007) and I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils. I cut it out and placed it on a doble cardstock mat white and blue. I think this is a great image for grandparents, because they must have played with this kind of dolls and they are best friends... Unfortunatelly, my daughter only has the two grandmas but not the grandpas anymore...
I used Folia papers and white cardstock, the mat for all of the layers is blue cardstock. As the image has a quilted heart and the characters are Raggedy Ann and Andy, I wanted to give a quilted look to my card using the different dp patterns. The embossing folder is Dots (Sizzix).
The sentiment is by Create with TLC and the only embellishment is a heart shaped button (Oriental Trading) with some thread in a knot.
