Blue and silver

Hello, my friends!
I would like to share with you a couple of images of a Christmas card I just made...

I think the image is from A Day for Daisies, an old freebie. I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I cut it with a Spellbinders label die and used a bigger one for the blue cardstock mat. I also used a silver ribbon and three silver snowflakes. I think it can use some glitter too... maybe I will add some! The back papers are from my stash, the silver one I've got in an exchange and the blue one is Alt-Abdi (from Kz.)

Hope you like it!

Spring Squirrel

Hello, dear friends and visitors!

Last week we had the visit of a little squirrel in our garden. It came so fast from the neighbour's garden and run up from tree to tree... Our dog saw the movement but didn't know what it was. I can tell you it was a great image in my mind, I will not forget it! The squirrel didn't have poppies but it was announcing spring, you don't see them before it :)

I would like to show you this new card I made and I would love if you can comment telling me your opinion:

I've got the image long ago, it was a freebie at A Day for Daisies, I colored it with acuarelable pencils. I cut it with a scallop oval die and I used some red cardstock and a die from the same set for the mat.

I used white cardstock and dots embossing folder for the background. I used more red cardstock for the mat. I love dry embossing, you can make a simple piece of cardstock to look awesome, it gives texture, adds dimension and a delicate background.

As embellishment I punched out a few butterflies from a magazine paper and then distressed them with a red ink pad, I glued them with double side fomi tape. I used pearls to give some sparkle and  add more dimension.

I am thinking, maybe instead of red, should I've used kraft cardstock?

Snowball Scott

This is the second card I made today.

The image is Snowball Scott from A Day for Daisies... I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I glittered the snow part of the image. Then I placed it on a green cardstock.

For the background, I used red cardstock and used a Sizzix embossing forder (Birthday set). The dp is a scrap left from the card I made before and I think is perfect for this card.

As embellishements I used a green ribbon with snowflakes and three white rhinestones to complete the sketch.

I hope you like the card :)

For the background I used yellow cardstock and an embossing folder (circles and stars) and  I also used a sentiment from a birthday set I have and used some red ink to stamp it.

A huge cake

... for a very happy birthday!!!!!! I love this A Day For Daisies image... it's so cute and yummy!!!!!!!!

I colored the image with Koh-i-noor markers, nothing special about them, they are just normal school markers, but I don´t have any other fancy ones and I like to try different techniques... I mounted it on a fuchsia cardstock.

I used a "berry" designed vellum from Folia a fuchsia dp from India (the country) and a white microembossed white cardstock. I also used a strawberry ribbon and made a bow too, a lace and some dark pink gems. The sentiment is a freebie I've got in a blog, but can´t remember which one (if you know, please, let me know to give credit to the artist)

A few more ATCs...

I like the idea of making small cards... and as I had  my printer with a technical problem (now solved!!!)

I was using some images I had already printed and didn´t use because they were a little bit small for normal size cards :)

I used images from Di's, Bugaboo, A day for daisies and Stretch n' bubbles, this time no owls, bears, a cupcake and a water can... I colored them with acuarelable pencils.

I sponged the sky for the first one here (I learn this in an online course I won in a challenge recently), with the rest I used scraps dp from my stash and cardstock...

As embellishment I used ribbon, made a bow, button and thread, green bling and a couple of cold porcelaine ladybugs.
