GDT at Tammy's Scrapin Corner 2

This is my #500 post in blogger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello and happy Monday!
Last week I was suprised with the winning of a GDT spot at Tammy's Scrapin Corner and this is one of the cards I made for this weeks' challenge: BIRTHDAYS.

The image is by Birdie Brown and I colored it with Koh-i-noor aquarelable pencils.  I made some faux stitches around and placed it on a red cardstock mat.

The paper is from my stash (one I won in a candy) and the red cardstock is from my stash as well...

The ribbon is by Crafty Ribbons and I tried to combine it to be able to read Happy Birthday.  I also used a red button and some white embroidery thread.

The sketch is Tuesday Morning Sketches but I am on time to enter this card as they close normally on Mondays. Anyway, I thought it is a wonderful sketch for my card :)
I hope you like my card and feel inspired to come and play in this weeks' challenge at Tammy's.

Today I have good news to share with you... I am a Guest DT for April at QKR Stampede and this is my first card. The theme for this week is APRIL SHOWERS.

For my card I used In the Rain and colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I also used the sentiment In the Rain. I used some yellow cardstock to mat both the image and the sentiment.

I used DP by Oriental Trading and just realised it's up side down (OOOOOOPS!), but as the card is well glued I can´t correct it now :(

First time Guest Designer card

After a little break, I'm back... I was so busy last week. I am trying to get used to the new time shedule. While I was MIA I won a challenge and a candy (yeepee!!!!!!) Anyways...
A couple of weeks ago I won a guest designer spot at Lexi Creations blog challenge (yeah!)... I was invited to make a fancy fold card for this week challenge. I chose a "Joy Fold" card and you can find a tutorial here.

I used the image Ballerina trio by Lexi Creations. I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils and  layered the images using foami tape. I also used glitter glue and a purple cardstock as mat for the image.

I used a lavender double side DP from Denmark that my friend Maryann sent me a while ago and I thought it would be great for ballerinas... one of the sides for the left flap and the other side for the one where the image part is placed. I also used purple cardstock. As embellishments I used a lavender ribbon rose to secure the flap from opening and some small purple gems on two corners.

I also want to submit this card to the following challenges:
Pattie's creations: fancy folds
I brake for challenges: fancy folds
Fresh brewed monthly: something new (digistamp)
