The fox and the hound

A collage of some of my favourite things, I find it difficult to express in words my love for owls - aren't they just the most wonderful creatures. Lately I am fascinated with foxes, and don't get me started on my forever love for roses and shades of green and pink and vintage labels, postcards, birdcages . . . you get the picture :)

Dahlia hats

A little birdie thought these ladies needed some sprucing up, so now they have lovely floral hats with a bit of colour and pizzazz.

Little pink number

In fashion, black and white combos are so chic, but I have to say that I really do like a simple dress in a striking colour, don't you love these two stylish ladies? - my entry for the black and white challenge at Take a Word.

Hats and Bonnets

During the 1820's wide-brimmed hats and hat-like bonnets with masses of feathers and ribbon trims were worn by fashionable ladies - my entry for the hats challenge over at Theme Thursday.

Sewing

All you need is some fabric, a pattern, sewing machine and some good quality thread  . . . . what are you waiting for - start sewing!!! ;-) I am talking to myself - so many things I would like to sew, but between my sewing machine bailing out on me and finding time between making collages and what not - I just never get to it.  The spool advertisement and the sewing machine are both from Graphics Fairy - linking to Brag Monday.
