Church History Museum

We were able to go see the Church History Museum with my family right before it re-opened after its remodel.  It was really fun to go see and we all had a great time.  Todd really enjoyed it and would love to go back when we don't have kids so he can spend a little more time looking at everything.

The girls all really loved the children's section upstairs.  Especially the light tables! They probably could have stayed there all night.

It was a fun night to all be together! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Gardner Village Witches

We decided to go see the witches at Gardner Village this year before October to try and avoid too many crowds.  We went with all the girls in my family and had a great time, even though it was almost 90 degrees at the end of September!  My girls look forward to going every year and it was fun for their cousins to come with us this time.

My mom brought us all a picnic lunch that we enjoyed when we first got there.

Miley was super excited to look at these pictures after we were done taking them, this is a picture of her running to my mom saying "I see it!!!"

Graham was especially loving Emma this day so we had a good time watching them walk around together.  Also, Emma, Katelyn, and Graham probably spent a good 20 minutes running down this little hill!

It was a fun day and we were glad that my family could come with us!

Labor Day and Midway Getaway

We had a pretty low-key Labor Day since I wasn't really feeling up to doing much hiking, which is what most people ended up doing it seems.  We slept up at my parent's cabin on Sunday night and spent most of the day up there doing crafts and just hanging out.  Todd actually woke up early Monday morning and met a few members of his family to hike Mt. Timpanogos.  He said that they had a great time and he was even able to meet the "Iron Cowboy" who Todd enjoyed following on social media this summer as he completed 50 Ironman distance races in 50 states in 50 days.

On September 12-13 we went up and stayed at my Grandparents cabin in Midway with all of my family.  We had fun just hanging out, riding bikes, and just enjoying being together. We also celebrated Tally's birthday on the 13th.  Most of the family went to the BYU football game on Friday night while my mom and I stayed home and watched the kids.  Todd went to visit with his Grandpa at half time.

Katelyn really enjoyed eating all the apples she could find from the apple trees.

August Pictures

Here is a picture round-up of our August activities!

One Saturday we went swimming and had a picnic with my family. The girls all love swimming but had just recently been swimming in Todd's sister's heated pool so they thought this pool was a little too cold.

We visited one of Todd's mission companions down in Fairview and got to ride around on his horses.  Emma and Katelyn loved them.  Miley was too nervous to try and go on the horse but she was obsessed with their goats and just wanted to sit and watch them all night.

This is what the girls in the family like to do while Todd does yard work.

For some reason I just thought it was so great that they were sitting in age order during movie night.

Miley wants so badly to be a big girl like her sisters so she likes to put her backpack on in the mornings so she can get ready for school at the same time as Emma and Katelyn.

One Saturday morning, Todd was out for a long training run and the girls wanted to wait for him to come home so they could cheer him on. It also should be noted that after this picture was taken Emma learned how to ride her bike with no training wheels although we still haven't taken a picture of it.

Since school is back in, the girls were excited to be able to go to the Children's Museum again since it is much, much less crowded when people are in school.  They also came up with this picture on their own.

We went to the county fair with Chad and Melissa's family.  We enjoyed the petting zoo, looking at all of the animals, and going on a few rides.

This first ride that the girls went on was my favorite to watch.  Emma is our cautious little girl and you can see in the first picture how she felt about the beginning of the ride.  She eventually warmed up to the idea and enjoyed it, it just took a few times around.

Katelyn and Hadley are good little friends and love to do things with each other!

We attended half of our ward's 2nd annual campout.  We decided not to sleep over this time but had a good time playing games with everyone in the evening before heading home.

Our team was a little low on primary kids so Katelyn and Miley got to participate in the donut eating contest.  They were pretty stoked about it.

It was a fun month but we are enjoying the routine of school and the cooler weather that September has brought us.
