At the end of my last dentist appointment I thought that now that Emma is 4, I should probably take her to the dentist. I have been dreading it because I thought that she would freak out so I just wanted to put it off as long as possible. It could have gone better, but it also could have gone alot worse!
Katelyn was scheduled for a "happy visit" as well which just helps get them familiar with going to the dentist but they don't really do any cleaning. I had planned that Emma would go first and then Katelyn would be ok to follow Emma. We got there and played in the lobby while I filled out some paperwork and everything was fine. As soon as we went back to the room Emma got really nervous and refused to sit in the chair so Katelyn got to go first.
Before they started anything the hygienist sat the girls down and explained to them what all of the different tools did. Emma sat against the wall for the first little part of that and then got brave enough to walk over and look. Then it was time for Katelyn to have her turn. She got all set up with Frozen on the TV and then as soon as the chair started laying back she got really nervous and just wanted to get out.
Then Emma decided that she was brave enough to have her turn, as long as she got to watch Brave on the TV while they brushed her teeth. She did really well once she started! I was very proud of her. Katelyn got to watch what Emma was watching on a different TV while Emma finished her turn.
When it was over the girls were happy to get new princess toothbrushes and tokens to get some toys out of the toy machines. Overall, it went well and I think they will be even better the next time we go!

Children's Museum
The beginning of April means General Conference, which means that my mom and dad get to come home to visit! We always love when we get to spend time with them. We had alot of fun squeezing in time with them in between all of their dinners, luncheons, and meetings. One day, all the girls except for Abby, went down to the Children's Museum at the Gateway. The girls had a blast having that many people there to entertain them.
Katelyn loved looking at this elephant exhibit with "Ki", elephants are still her favorite!
Emma loved putting on a show for us in the little theater. She kept going behind the curtains and wouldn't come out until we yelled, "Presenting princess _____" depending on who she was playing at that time. Katelyn just liked to follow her around.
The grocery store is always a big hit. There was a cute girl there that Emma and Katelyn enjoyed playing with. Katelyn had a hard time letting other people put some of the food from the shelves in their carts too, she thought it was all for her. We are still working on the whole sharing thing.
Baby Graham came too and spent the entire time sleeping. What a good little baby. We just really love him!
Thanks, Mom for the fun afternoon! The girls all loved it!

10 Months
I can't believe that Miley is already 10 months old. It seems like she was just born! She is getting so big and acting less and less like a baby every day. Except for when she wakes up crying in the middle of the night, then we remember that she is still a baby.
Miley has quite the little temper and is really good at telling us when she is mad. One the other hand, if she isn't mad she is really happy! She just has one tooth right now and my favorite thing ever is when she smiles so big that her one baby tooth peeks out above her bottom lip.
Miley's two favorite places in the house are the pantry and the bathroom. She really loves her food and bath time and knows what is coming when she goes into either of those rooms. She gets so excited and starts flapping her arms, trying to clap. She has a similar reaction when we open any of the doors to go outside. She would stay outside all day as long as you don't try to set her down. She is not a fan of the grass. Sometimes we can trick her if we put her on a blanket with enough toys. It only lasts for about 3 minutes before she realizes what is happening though.
She loves to tell us that she is "so big" and is starting to get pretty good and listening to us if we tell her not to do something. She still loves to play the piano and will come "running" into the room whenever she hears me sit down to start to play. That means that I only ever really get to play for the time that it takes her to get to the room before she has to get up in my lap.
She is starting to be a little more vocal now. She has been slower in this department than her sisters, probably because she has been working so hard on her gross motor skills that she kind of forgot about everything else. She can go up stairs, but not down yet, she pulls herself up on anything she can reach and lately has started to stand without assistance for a few seconds.
One of Miley's favorite things is to go around the house and help me open up all of the blinds right after she gets out of bed in the morning. Maybe she likes it so much because she thinks that means she gets to go outside. Either way it makes her really happy. I love how easy to please little children are. It will be a sad day when that is no longer the case.
We love her spunky personality and she keeps us on our toes every day! Happy 10 months, baby girl!

March Pictures
I have been a slacker when it comes to documenting our lives for the last little while. Life just seems to be getting away from me, and some days we are just lucky if we all get out of our pajamas at a reasonable hour. Here are the few pictures from March that I want to remember.
One day after church, Todd wanted to take some pictures. Some people were more excited about it than others.
Jeffrey and Brooke had their little baby boy Graham on February 13th. He is the cutest and we all love him. The girls are happy to have a cousin on my side of the family. We went out of town the day after he was born so the girls didn't get to meet him until later. Then, my mom came home for a week to help Jeffrey and Brook for a little while. We visited one day and made fruit loop necklaces. The girls were thrilled!
My aunt Laurie and cousin Allie and her cutest little Madden came to visit one day. Laurie took these great pictures for us!
Emma likes to take care of Miley. While Miley was eating her bottle one day, Emma put a blanket on her and was trying to put her headband back on her head while saying, "Mom, good and helpful sisters put blankets on their sisters and headbands on their head while they are eating."
Emma likes to play with the bubbles while we do the dishes.
We also have been enjoying the nice weather outside. We love the springtime!
And that was our month in pictures!
