Ryan and Emily's Wedding

Todd's youngest brother, Ryan got married on March 14th!  It was such a beautiful day, so warm and sunny outside and fun to be with everyone.  It is weird to think that all 10 kids in Todd's family are now married!  We love Emily and are happy to have her officially be part of the family now. 

Emma LOVED wearing a new fancy dress and was so excited to see "princess Emily" at their ball and spent a lot of the time there dancing with her cousins.  Katelyn, surprisingly, was equally as excited to be in a new fancy dress.  Such girly, girls!

Disney on Ice

My Mom and Dad were soooooo nice and bought Emma and I tickets to see Disney on Ice on March 8th.  It was all about princesses so it was perfect for our little princess.  I have always thought that it would be fun to take Emma to something like that but have been nervous that she wouldn't enjoy it because she wouldn't be able to see it very well.  We got amazing tickets on the second row and she loved every minute of it!  I am pretty sure that I spent more time watching her than I did watching the show.  It was the greatest to see her love it so much.

I think one of the greatest parts for Emma is that I let her wear her princess dress out of the house.  She was so excited to see all of the other little girls dressed up as well.

She really loved Cinderella but was a little put out that her dress did not go all the way down to the ground like it does in the movie.  She doesn't miss anything.

I tried really hard to get a good picture of her face while she was watching because it was so great, but she was on my lap for alot of the time so it was hard to get a really good one.  Just trust me when I say she loved it.

She couldn't stop telling me how cool it was that Rapunzel was flying through the air with her hair.

Thanks so much mom and dad!  Emma keeps asking when we get to go back on our date to "Disney Ice" and told Todd the next day that she is pretty sure Heaven is just like Disney Ice.  I think it is safe to say that she had a good time!

February

We didn't really have a very eventful month, so there wasn't very much to blog about but we did take a few pictures so I figured I would put them on here.

Todd's Grandma Brown passed away February 11th after battling with cancer.  We will miss her but are glad that she is no longer in pain and suffering.  The funeral, on the 16th, was great and I enjoyed hearing more about her life. Emma really liked singing "I Am A Child Of God" with all of the great-grandchildren.

Since Todd's siblings were all in town for the funeral we thought it would be fun to all get together and go out on a group date since that doesn't get to happen very often.  We went curling at the Olympic Oval and it was actually alot more fun than I thought it was going to be.  Our instructor was 100% crazy but she kept us very entertained.

Thanks to Todd for always planning fun things for us to do together, even if everyone complains about it on the way.  We always end up having a great time!
