Anyway, this is still longer than I wanted it to be but I guess that is ok. We had a good time and I felt this was a great way to celebrate our annivesary.

Cruise
I am posting again before October so that is good news. It still has been almost a month since we went on our cruise so not soon enough I guess. This post is going to have alot of pictures in it and hopefully minimal commentary so it won't be too long. We went on a seven day cruise and had a blast! It was fun to be together and not have to worry about work.
Our first stop was on our 2nd Anniversary in the Bahamas and we had a good time. Here is us in front of the ship, I guess the person taking the picture didn't get the point that we wanted more of the ship in the picture. Oh well.
We rented ourselves a little scooter and rode around the island all day. It made Todd miss Ricardo (our old scooter). Just in case any of you were wondering, the drive on the left side of the road in the Bahamas, something that would have been nice to know before we started.
We found a little beach that was practically empty so had a nice relaxing afternoon. We weren't out for too long because 1. I tend to get a little on the burned side so I didn't want to get too burned on our first day. 2. It was far too humid for my liking and I needed something to drink so we had to go find a little grocery store.
We also made a little stop at the Atlantis where we saw this massive creature. Pretty sure I felt like it was coming to eat me right about now. All and all the Bahamas was a big success but not my favorite island we visited.
This is Todd and I looking lovely on our way to our first formal night. I am too scared to ask other people to take our picture so this is what you get.
This was one of my favorite towel animals that was left for us. I was tempted to buy a book teaching me how do make these so I can leave it on our visitors beds when anyone comes to visit. Then I remembered we don't have a second bed and towel animals are never as cool on an air mattress.
Second stop was St. Thomas/St.John. The ship docked in St. Thomas but we were told that St. John was the place to be and it did not disappoint. Who doesn't love driving up to a beach like the one pictured above in the middle of a million trees. I know I do. We did some snorkeling around those rocks that are just off of the shore. Good times.
Just my husband looking cool by the huge trees we had to walk passed to get to the beach. (He wasn't very happy that I always took pictures of him by himself but I wouldn't let him do the same to me.)

As displayed from the above pictures, Todd is not one to just lay around on the beach all day and read a book (even though he did his fair share of reading on the trip) so we decided to have a little photoshoot with ourselves to occupy our time. Don't worry it only took us like 20 tries to get a half-way decent jumping picture. Please don't ask what we are doing in the last picture with our legs, it was Todd's idea, and we are not really sure ourselves.
Last stop was St. Martin, also rather enjoyable even though this is the only picture we got before our camera died. It is just of Todd when we were riding over on the water taxi to the beach. He probably won't like that I posted this but 1. I had to document that we went to this island, and 2. when you are the one doing the blogging you get to make the decisions.
And here is our lovely waiter Ceasar ("like the salad" he always told me) doing a little dance for us. He was rather entertaining.
Here is Todd with the monkey towel animal. I am not really sure if he is trying to be a monkey as well.
And last but not least, here is one of Todd's favorite parts of the whole cruise. 24 hour soft serve ice cream. Todd loves his ice cream.
Anyway, this is still longer than I wanted it to be but I guess that is ok. We had a good time and I felt this was a great way to celebrate our annivesary.
