Sneak Peek

Here is a glimpse of my August project for the kit club I design at Paws on Scrapbooking. This one may just be the best one yet. I am completely overwhelmed by the interest in my kits. I made several extras again this month and I believe they are almost sold out again. If you are intrested in joining the club, check all the information out HERE.
Thank you all so much for the wonderful feedback!

Hello Sunshine

Cosmo Cricket was our sponsor this month at Scrap Lovers and I got to play with the "Hello Sunshine" line. I must say that I wasn't sure what I thought of this when I saw the sneak peeks but after working with it for two days, it has immediately become my new favourite Cosmo Cricket line. For more Cosmo Cricket inspiration, check out this month's design team gallery.

I added some beads, ribbon and sequins for a little texture and glam. If you'd like to enroll in the club, you can find all the details HERE. Thanks to all of you who have already subscribed. June Sketch World Layout

Here's my take on Lucy's June sketch. Check out her blog for work done by the rest of the design team and let us know if you try the sktech. We love to see your work.

Photography Class

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of taking the intermediate photography for scrapbookers course with Kathy Thompson Laffoley. I am so pleased to say I shot in manual the whole day and got some really great photos. Here are a few of my favourites.

Though the pictures of the rocks is overexposed, it's still kind of neat.

This photo of me was taken by my partner. Thanks, Janet, I just love it.

Here are a few more I took at home to practice what we had done.

I think this last one is my all time favourite of the day!

Treasured Scrapbooking News

Treasured Scrapbooking has been down for the past five days due to server issues. The good news is that the site is back up and running. The bad news is that everything has been reset to the last available back up from December, 2007. If you registered after that point, you will need to register again. Leslie is devastated by all of this and is working very hard to get everything reorganized. In the meantime, we have a new BLOG to keep members updated in addition to the forums.

Here is a layout I made with June Kit # 2. The kit is FULL of paper from a variety of companies and lots of embellishments to keep you busy with several layouts or projects. I also created my first digital sketch for this month's kit. It's not fancy but not too shabby for a beginner.

If you would like to order a June kit, please email Leslie!
