Card Patterns, TPE and Squigglyfly challenge
Bonjour everyone and happy Wednesday. Half way through the week and I've got another triple challenge card for you. This card is created using the Card Patterns sketch this week. I hopped on over to Squigglefly for the first time, and used their Black and White color challenge. Then to round it out, I did the Pink Elephant "Dots, Punch and Tag" Challenge.

I absolutely love love love this stamp from Hearts in Touch. Talk about magical and full of whimsy. I stamped the image on a great paper from Stampin up, then heat embossed with white powder. Love how that turned out. For the flower, I zig zagged some pearl strands on top of the large flower then adhered the smaller one on top. Finishing with a few pearls.

Leave some love. I hope you enjoyed the card today and thanks for stopping by.

4 in 1 combo card
Holy Doodles, I've crammed 4 challenges into this card for you today. It really can be done. First this is this weeks CPS sketch challenge. I used the Color Create Cream, Chocolate and Red challenge for this week, added in The Pink Elephant circles and scallops challenge and topped it off with the Studio G #7 paper piecing. so here it goes Everyone...
I have wanted to do a cupcake card for a while now, but the thought was adding on pounds, so i bit the bullet and took one for the team lol. With this card i used some great lace ribbon that I've had and just didn't know what to use it for. And I used some fabric paint to give the icing some real dimension.
I added some glitter to the wet fabric paint for a little extra sprinkle and the small cupcakes on the bottom of the card are all paper pieced, iced, and glued onto painted grunge circles. (I added some glitter to these before they dried too)
Supplies:
Stamps: Polka Dot Pie-Chocolate Treats 1, Studio G cupcakes quad.
Diecuts- Spellbinder classic and scallop circle
Paper: Card stock- Very Vanilla (SU), Bittersweet collection (Basic Grey)
Accessories: Lace Ribbon, red glitter, fabric paint, Basic Shapes Grungeboard (Tim Holtz)
Coloring agents: Versafine Onyx Black, vintage photo distress ink (Ranger), Christmas red ink (colorbox), Le Plume markers, Red Pepper paint dabber (adirondack)
Tools: Scor-pal, Purple Cows 2-in-1 trimmer, postage stamp punch, corner round punch, small tipped paint brush.
Hope you enjoyed todays card. Try mixing challenges up to push your creativity into overdrive!!!

Pink Elephant Challenge #3 and Colour Create Pink and Gray Combo
This week over at The Pink Elephant, there is a great sketch challenge done by TPE's very own Carol. It is such a great sketch and I decided to make a cute card for the first time. I also combined this challenge with a color challenge over at Colour Create. They are doing a Gray and Pink Combo. So here is the 2 birds 1 stone approach! Here is the sketch followed by my take.
For this challenge I used SU cardstock in Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose and Going Gray. I also used some more yummy paper from the Urban Oasis Line. I turned it so it would look like x's, since this is a hugs and kisses kind card. I also used a little piece of pink swirl from the Bella Birds line, as well as a great scrap that I found in my scrap drawer.
The stamp is just so sweet, and I'll find the maker for you, just can't remember off the top of my head. I used 2 different ribbon, 1 black and one thin pink. Then I thought I would get adventurous and try my hand a quilling that flourish. Using pink and grey paper, it came together. Then to finish this "hoot" of a card, I put some small liquid pearl dots around the flourishes in gray. TADA!!!! My very first cute card. What do ya think?
Thank you so much for coming by and taking a look at another one of my creations. Your comments are so appreciated. Take care and until next time
