Really Reasonable Ribbon December Blog Hop

The December Ribbon of the Month club kit is filled with luscious browns. I'm a huge fan of brown and have been for a long time. When I was just a little girl, it was my absolute favorite color (thanks to my Auntie Val). I still gravitate towards it while shopping for clothes, make up and home decor hehe.

The project I'm sharing with you today is a layout that I created with my two favorite subjects. Our two children love to make Mommy pancakes on Sunday morning, and this time I snuck in for a few photo ops.

I love using my Tiny Attacher with ribbon. A real quick and easy way to adhere it to a project and it gives a little extra punch. The papers on the layout have been adhered using Helmar Quick Fix Adhesive Runner and all of the acrylic and transparencies got a good spray of Helmar V2 Vellum Adhesive. For that extra dimension, I've use my favorite, Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots. This stuff is simply heavenly!!!

Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop and Design Team Reveal

Happy National Scrapbook Day Everyone. Today Really Reasonable Ribbon has their first Design Team Reveal Blog Hop and there is some absolutely AMAZING talent on the team. For my project today, I've created a card using the 5/8" Jute ribbon, which I've absolutely fallen in love with. The fullness of the bows you can make with these ribbons, is fantastic and I can just see the possibilities when it comes to making flowers.

The image is painted with Distress Stickles and Distress Inks. Then on the empty space, i went over and filled it in with Glossy Accent. Paper is from Basic Grey- Green at Heart.
