Hey there everyone. Happy Tuesday to all of you. Today is my first design team post for
Tattered Angels. How stinkin exciting is that!!??!! This month, we are celebrating wood and all the altering possibilities using
Tattered Angels products.
I've got three projects to share with you and I'm beyond excited to show you what an amazing change a little
Glimmer can make.
First off a wonderful Christmas tree cut out from
Say it With Letters. I love unfinished wood and all of the possibilities. For this tree I used a combination of
Mermaid and Dirty Martini Glimmer Glam,
Dragonfly, Apple and Kiwi Glimmer Mist and
Helmar Antique Crackle Medium.
I think the
Mermaid Glimmer Glam is my absolute favorite. You can rally see its beauty on the chipboard pieces(hey chipboard is from a tree right?)
And to see how the
Glimmer Glam, stamping and
Crackle Medium work together, an even closer view.
I so love that antique vintage look that these products together created. Yummo!!!
Next I've got a wonderful cross to share. Here is the before photo, just so you can see the huge difference
Tattered Angels products made.
Now I thought I would try something a little different and give the Heated Pearls technique using
Helmar Gemstone Glue and
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam. Holy Doodles, the result blew me away. There are a whole lot of layers that I did using this technique and I'm so excited to share this with you. Who knew that
Glimmer Glams would work with this technique. well now we know hehe.
Here is a close up of what the technique itself looks like finished. Like I said, I used a tonne of layers and found the
Tiger Lily Glimmer Mist just POPPED whenn I sprayed it into the bubbling glue. HOLY DOODLES!!! You'll see
Dragonfly, Apple and Tiger Lily Glimmer Mist as well as
Mermaid Glimmer Glam. I did say it was my favorite right?
I also created a flower and the small cross, using metal and
Mermaid and Dirty Martini Glimmer Glam to add a little more oomph to the project.
Now on to the last wood project for this months
Tattered Angels Wood theme. A simple card using a wooden embellishment and some
Bordeaux Glimmer Glam. The
Pink Paislee Parisian Anthology papers are sprayed with
Dragonfly and Lemon Glimmer Mists. Love Love LOVE this color combination.
You can really see the texture that
Glimmer Glam creates with those glitter pieces. Yummo. The flowers are first sprayed with
Arctic Blue Glimmer Mist, then painted with that delish
Mermaid Glimmer Glam. I so love the look of the
Glimmer Glam on dark misted pieces.
There are so many options when it comes to
Tattered Angels Glimmer products. They work exceptionally well with wood and I'm over the moon excited that I got to share a few ways to use
Glimmer Mists and
Glimmer Glams for you today.
Thanks so so much for stopping by. Hope you leave a little comment, letting me know what you think.
