Gingersnaps Color Challenge- Metallics

Hi Everyone and happy Monday. Oh how it is so nice to have the power, heat, and water back on. On Saturday morning we started having outages and by Saturday Night it was out for good. No Heat, No Water, but thank goodness I love candles. Lit a bunch and played some Scrabble with my husband when the children went to sleep. Nice to have it all back although we are under a boil water advisory.

Today I'm sharing with you all, the project I did for the recent Metallics Challenge at Gingersnap Creations. I'm a huge TENseconds Studio fan and just knew a canvas was going to come to fruition. I used some beautiful Serendipity Stamps, (these guys are also the sponsor for January) and even the stars are created using some of those stamps. I stamped on the silver side of the metal, then using a detail tool, went over the ink on the image and PRESTO, these little gems were born. How fun is that!

So here she is, my new canvas project using Serendipity Stamps, TENseconds Studio , and distress ink. Enjoy

A little Gift

The most glorious gift of the season for me. I created this card for the new color challenge at Gingersnap Creations. Gold, Green and Purple work so well together. The stamp is from the Christmas Sheet from Hearts in Touch. Simple but striking I think.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas. May the spirit of the season bless you with good health, good fortune and good friends

Merry Christmas to all of you.

First-Ever Gingersnap Creations Blog Hop

Welcome to the first-ever Gingersnap Creations Blog Hop and Hop Stop #4!

If you’ve already been hopping then hopefully you have just come from Debby at Debby's Stuff. If you are starting here, welcome! It's a loop so you can start anywhere along the way!

At each stop, you need to collect a word! There are 10 stops in all starting and ending with the Gingersnap Creations blog where you can get all the specific information and get a peak at the Christmas 2009 plate from Hearts in Touch.

When you get all your words, 9 in all, unscramble them to form an art quote. Once you have your guess at the quote, email it and your name to gingersnapstamp@gmail.com by December 13, 2009. We will be picking one lucky winner at random from the correct entries to win the Hearts in Touch Christmas 2009 plate!

Here is the card I created with one of my favorite Hearts in Touch Stamps to date. This Angel is absolutely stunning and I love how she stamps.

Not your traditional Christmas colors but I love how it turned out

My word is "a".
Your next stop on the hop is Hels at Ink on My Fingers. Good luck!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Leave a comment to be entered to win a RAK. Perhaps a stamp or two from my Hearts in Touch Stash.
