Today was Earth Day. Did you take part? I did some craft recycling, and cut down some cardboard for making chipboard goodies.
A few days ago, I received a package from Frances over at
Hearts in Touch. Some really pretty Asian stamps from a set called Oriental Stained Glass. Well I've never tried the stained glass technique on acetate, so i thought these stamps were a good enough reason to dive in. I really enjoyed coloring on the acetate and it sure did help to emboss the image first. So without another moment to wait, here she is.

I decided to use very muted colors for the card stock, so I could really focus on the Geisha and cherry blossom images. Did a little distressing on the edges of the card and made an embellishment from scrap acetate and a rub-on. I will definitely be getting some more of Frances' stamps. They are great quality and the images stamp really clear.
Thanks so much for stopping by. and don't forget about my
blog candy which you can find
