new stuff

I tried texture plates I went on a crafty fix and also got some bristol paper. Because it is 100 pound it is hard to make impressions but they are very firm. I also used water color pencils on both the positive and negative impression. Them I used some water on them to try that effect, ok, try some sand paper to distress the image. These effect could be good

Now to try out the techniques on different weight papers

I also made spaghetti sauce today

working allows me to ...

... get some of the stuff -- right???
and of course you have to work in order to eat, right ...

I was off work on 1/1. Since then i have worked
1/2, 1/3, and 1/5

i think i need a craft fix. Off to it

i think i will be working wed thu and fri too

i really hope this becomes more than a listing of the days i work

however, i will say that since each of those days is between 10 and more hours i rarely do anything else on those days

out with the old

Today I got 4 plastic tubs to try to hold all (probably not) my hobby things. I already have several tubs. now on to the sorting, filing and deciding what the true interest is.

Some of my interests include, but are definitely not limited to...

fiber - sewing, knitting, crochet, embroidery, tatting, quilting, felting

paper - drawing, origami, quilling, scrapbook

photography - mostly travel

I also like doing tings, traveling near or far, sports watching, reading, cooking

Right now there is a photographic retrospective on the tv, I can only hope to have some of those emotions when I view my own photos. I do need to get new photo software soon

Anyway, I have lots of stuff to do all the above

See anyone soon
