{New Collection} Tuscan Sunflower Soiree!

{inspiration board created by Courtney at Pizzazerie}
When one of my readers contacted me to design a SUNFLOWER collection for an upcoming bridal shower she is planning, I had to say YES! I adore sunflowers (I even have a little sunflower tattoo on my foot!) and the shower is being held in my hometown in New York! I have come across beautiful sunflower party inspiration and wanted to share more ideas with the customer, so I asked Courtney at Pizzazerie to create an inspiration board! Courtney is an up and coming "party girl" and she has been nothing but sweet to me since she hit the party blogging scene! She tweets to Martha on a regular basis about me..(unsolicited)...how great is that? I wanted to introduce you all to Courtney and her blog, and thought having her put together some ideas for this shower would be PERFECT!

Sunflower Invitation (The TomKat Studio)
Sunflower Table (A Stunning Affair)
Sunflower Wine (Brides.com)
Sunflower Seed Favors (Love, Honor, & Cherish)
Swizzle Sticks (HWTM)

Lemonade Table (Blue Orchid Blog)
Thank you, Courtney for the inspiration!
Additional items in this collection will be available in the SHOP soon!

My Wedding Cupcake Toppers featured on Brenda's Wedding Blog!

I was so excited to see my Wedding/Bridal Shower cupcake toppers featured on Brenda's Wedding Blog! Brenda's blog is full of wedding inspiration and the inspiration board she included me on is gorgeous! She found all of the items above on Etsy! For details, visit her post here.

One day, I would love to expand my products to offer more wedding items. For now, the demand for my children's party products and baby showers is keeping me on my toes! However, I am offering my printable party circles shown above, which are perfect for a wedding or bridal shower! I made these for my friend's bridal shower, and have had several orders for them since! The colors and fonts are customizable and these could be used for so many things for a wedding!

Find them HERE in my shop!

Cupcake Monday: Mel's Bridal Shower Cupcakes!

{photo by live love photography}
My friend, Melissa came to town a few weeks ago to celebrate her bridal shower and bachelorette party! I was in charge of cupcakes & cupcake toppers (could you have guessed?) and made these to coordinate with her invitations. Her wedding is in September and she is doing warm, fall colors.
Notice something a little different about the cupcakes (and these)? I finally using one of my many piping tips! I've used them before like when we made gingerbread cookies, but not for my cupcakes. It was easy and looked SO much more professional!

I was so excited when two of my friends noticed my new technique!
(They must really love me to notice that!)

Congratulations, Melissa!

Weddings: Aimee's Fabulous Pink Shoes!

I rarely post about weddings, although deep down I am truly obsessed with wedding details. I try to stay away from wedding blogs because I already spend so much time in front of my computer. I try to stay focused on parties, paper & cupcakes!

However, when my new blogging friend, Niki over at Papery & Cakery posted about brides wearing brightly colored shoes with their wedding dresses, I had to share these wedding photos with her! The bride, Aimee is a friend of my sister-in-law's and every single detail of her wedding was absolutely gorgeous! My friend, Taryn's company, Serendipity Videography filmed this wedding and the photography was done by the fabulous Jennifer Bowen.

Aren't Aimee's shoes adorable?!
They remind me of my hot pink Coach purse!

Check out more brides with bright shoes at Papery & Cakery's post HERE!

Parties: Pink Perfection!

As I was catching up on one of my favorite sites, Hostess with the Mostess, this GORGEOUS party caught my eye! Originally from brides.com, this flirty black, white & pink party design is so fabulous, down to every detail! (and it doesn't it look perfect on my blog? :)
Good thing I have a girl....this party inspiration will come in good use for one of her birthday parties! Next year, perhaps?!

If My Wedding Was Today....

...this would be my decor! When I was looking for damask fabric for my studio makeover, I came across these gorgeous photos taken by professional photographer, Jennifer Skog. These were actually taken at her own bridal shower, not a wedding! Amazing bridal shower, I must say! I love the combo of black and white damask with green. Yum.

Amanda's Wedding Flowers - White Roses & Green Spider Mums

I recently helped one of my best friends, Amanda with some of her wedding details. The event was a quaint backyard ceremony at her father-in-law's beautiful custom home in Whitewing, with a reception following at her mother's charming home in Chandler. It was a beautiful celebration on a small budget. Luckily, Amanda has great friends with great talents! Our friend Taryn and her husband, who own Serendipity Videography shot the ceremony, and another friend Tina, from Live.Love. Photography took the photos. I printed Amanda's invitations and envelopes, as well as tried my hand at arranging FLOWERS (see previous post). I ordered white roses from Costco (only to have them not arrive and have to travel to another store far away), and the green spider mums from AJ's (right on schedule).

It was a hectic day, I ended up not being able to shower before the wedding...Yuck. But hey, it wasn't about me, it was about her and her special day....and it all turned out beautiful!

Invitations: My Favorite Pregnant Girl

I recently designed two baby shower invitations using the same artwork, that I absolutely love! I think this is the cutest pregnant girl around, and sets the tone for a classy event!

The first one was for a double-celebration soiree that I hosted for two of my best friends, Kristi & Amanda. It was a baby shower for Kristi (baby girl #2), and bachelorette party for Amanda. I used coordinating "ladies" for the invites (the preggie girl and a bride), since most of the invitees were invited to both. For more details and photos from the event, click here.

I also used the same mommy-to-be artwork for a double baby shower held in Florida, for my sister-in-law, Suzanne and her sister, Lucy who are due just weeks apart. I did these in a brown/green scheme, since Lucy isn't sure if she is having a boy/girl, and Suzanne is having another BOY! Double the fun!

Like these invites? Keep me in mind when your next event comes around!
