The Golden Age of Wireless is the debut album from Thomas Dolby released in May 1982 on Venice in Peril / EMI Records. It was produced by Thomas Dolby and Tim Friese-Greene.  The album reached number 68 and spent 10 weeks on the U.K. chart.

The 47th Single from Thomas Dolby was released in November 1982 and reached Number 49 on the U.K. singles chart where it stayed on the chart for 4 weeks.  Written by Thomas Dolby and Joe Kerr it was released on Capitol/EMI/ Venice in Peril records on  7 inch and 12 inch CD Single. It was re-released on July 1983 where is reached number 56 and stayed on the charts for 4 weeks. It peaked at Number 5 on the U.S. Billboard Chart.
