Hey there!
I'm really going to try and be better about posting more than just during My Time Made Easy release time -- I've got a few things photographed, and ready to go, so I NEED to start sharing!!
My older daughter is a Daisy Scout. She enjoys it VERY much -- here's a photo of her at a meeting -- a bit of a cheesy grin, but - yes, that's her :).
Her leaders are GREAT -- and I'm so glad that by chance, she wound up with this group of girls -- it's a long story, so I won't get into it - but I do believe things happen for a reason!
The end of the school year also meant the end of troop meetings - we do plan to get the girls together to play over the Summer break - but not official meetings. So I thought I'd make a little something for the Leader and 2 co-leaders.
It looks like they no longer offer it - but I have the scout set from The Greeting Farm (I don't remember the official name) and used the girl scout image for this card here:
I used some traditional Daisy scout colors on the card, and used my Stampin' Up! curly label punch the curly label stamp set for the sentiment.
The background on the yellow layer was made using words from the greeting farm set -- and the background on the blue layer uses the Tin Types stamp set from Papertrey Ink.
Thanks for stopping by today -- hope it's a great one!!!

Inspired Birthday...
Hello friends~
Another weekend! YEAH -- This week went pretty fast, but I'm glad it's here. My birthday was Wednesday, I had root canal Thursday, so I'm just plum worn OUT!
Well -- it's Saturday, so we all know that it's 'My Time to Create' day!! Now -- c'mon, you know you want to play along...carve out a little time today to play.
We've got an inspiration challenge this week, and I had a BLAST with it. Here's the inspiration photo:
Here's my card:
This set is from Stampin' Up! - Thoughts and Prayers. I love this vine of flowers image. I used my SU! markers, and colored on the stamp. I used so saffron and garden green on the leaves, and rose red and taken with teal on the flowers. Used my quickie glue pen to add some dazzling diamonds glitter.
The Raspberry layer is patterned using Papertrey's Retro Backgrounds and Borders set, and the sentiment is from Birthday Basics.
I hope YOU are inspired to go make something to share...be sure to use keyword MTTI03, and link on Lauren's Mr. Linky :).
Just in case *I* have not inspired you enough, take a look at what the rest of the team has done (and this awesome graphic Kristin made!)
Supplies:
Stamps: Thoughts & Prayers (SU!), Retro Backgrounds & Borders & Birthday Basics (PTI)
Ink: taken with teal, fresh snow
Paper: Taken with teal, so saffron, (SU!), Select white, raspberry fizz, new leaf (PTI)
Accessories: SU markers, glitter, quickie glue pen, dimensionals

Awesome friends - and same paper 2 ways...
My SWEET friend Paulette sent a bunch of goodies to me - just because. Isn't that AWESOME??? Of course, I put everything away, and didn't take a picture before doing so, but lots of fun stuff for me to play with...a pretty spellbinders die, some awesome silk flowers, rub-ons, an awesome card with a picture of her beautiful children, some ribbon, some great 8x8 paper, which I've used today.
In the paper I rec'd, I used one of the patterns for 2 different cards.
One is for Paulette - to thank her for her awesome generosity...
This used the great pink papers she sent, as well as the SU! Rub-ons. Easy-peasy, simple layers, a rub-on, a little bling (also from Paulette) and instant pretty card!
This other card is for my sister's birthday.
Thanks for stopping by today - hope you enjoy your Sunday - back to work for me tomorrow...BLECH. I really enjoyed the time off with my girls this last week and a half.
Until next time!!

Onto a little project. Here's a card I made for a co-worker.
Today was our annual holiday party in the office. We had a DELICIOUS lunch. We do a little Kris Kringle gift exchange every year. So for my friend Sheryl, I got her a gift card from Bath & Body works.
So I put a little 'holder' on the inside cover of the card to hold the gift card. Worked out perfect.
Since the gift card had red writing on it, I wanted to incorporate that somehow, so I figured I'd bring it in in the sentiment on the front, and then use it inside as well.
This card uses all Stampin' Up! products, except the card base, which is PTI Select White, and the bling, which is from Doodlebug. The snowflakes are from the Winter mini, and are OH so delicious, aren't they??

I apologize for my photos...it was 2 am when I took these last night - and only today, after I had given it to it's recipient, did I realize they could have been a bit better...
I don't have too much shopping left to do for Christmas, but a few gifts still to make, and then lots and LOTS of wrapping...what about you? How is your holiday preparation going??
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
