Goin' Goth For Tiddly Tuesday

Hi everyone!!!  Hope you all had an awesome Memorial Day weekend!  My whole weekend was spent working in my yard and spending time with family.  What a great weekend I had!  Here a couple of weeks ago I received an order for milkweed that I place a few months ago.  I'm a total Monarch butterfly nut and have been since I was just a girl (OMGosh......that was a LONG time ago!) and has been something that has been stuck in my head so I decided to let my granddaughters experience that same feeling.  I have been unable to plant them due to the fact that it has been so cold here.  Well today I decided to take a look at them and you are not going to believe what I found......yep, 2 Monarch caterpillars!!!  Ack!!!!!!!!!  I had my hubby bring the whiskey barrel around to the front of the house so I could get them planted and pray that they start growing fast or I'm not going to have enough milkweed to feed them.  I'm really stressed out right now and hope that I can find some someplace.  My stress for the day!!  Okay, enough chatter, now on to my card.

Today (Tuesday June 1st) ONLY!!  Don't miss out!!!!

Here's the card that I created for our Goth challenge at Tiddly Inks this week!!  I've used one of the Gothic Cute images called "Poppy" and is she ever a cutey!!!
What do you think!?!  Such a great image huh!?!  You really have to go check out all of the Gothic Cuties at Tiddly Inks.  My image is colored with Copics and I have used my MS punch and layered a red one and a black one.  It actually looks really pretty IRL!!

I hope you will join us at Tiddly Inks this week for our Goth week challenge!!!!  I would love to see what you all do with Goth.  I've never really been into it that much so I hope that my card provides a little inspiration.  I tried not to make it too cutesy!!!!  :)

Thank you for stopping by today and hope to see your Gothic cuties!!!!

Have a good one!!!

Isn't this image FABULOUS!?!  I just wish I could look like this while I'm watering my flowers!!  LOL!  I have colored my image with Copics and used my Viva glitter liner on the water drops.  I have used DP from The Girls Paperie and have also used it to make my flowers.  I have used buttons and brads as the centers.

I hope you will join us this week at Phindy's Place!!!  Make sure you stop by and see what the rest of the DT has done with this challenge!!!

A Blingy Tiddly Inks Tuesday

Hey everyone.  Sorry I have been MIA this week but dang....we are so busy trying to get our landscaping done and getting ready to put new siding on our house that making cards has kind of taken a back burner.  I'll be so happy to have my house done but will be glad when things slow down!!!

This week at Tiddly Inks our challenge is to bling up your card or project.  I have used the fabulous image (that so reminds me of MayCee) "Drama Queen".  Tiddly Inks has some of the most awesome Gothic images!!!  Here's my card.....................
Isn't she wonderful!?!  I have left this card without a sentiment for now because I think I might use it for MayCee's birthday card this year!!!  You really can't see but I have used the Viva Glitter LIner on her buttons, shoes and around the image.  It is really a lot cuter IRL!!!

I hope you will join us for our Tiddly Inks Bling challenge this week!!  We all love bling, right!?!

Thanks for stopping by today and hope to see you at Tiddly Inks!!!!

Have a good one!!!

It's A Phindy Friday And I'm Late

Ugh.....I knew that I should have made my blog post yesterday when my internet was up but NO!!!  Now I am late because I was having issues again last night.  Sorry girls!!!  :)

Hey everyone!!  It's time for a new challenge at Phindy's Place and for this one we want you to do a card that most of us struggle with....MASCULINE!!!  Eek....I guess I'm just too girly because I always want to add flowers to my card.  Hehe!!

Anyway....here's my card using the image "Fishing".  I thought this would make a perfect Father's Day card,  Hence.....masculine and no flowers!!!!  :)
I love this image!!  For this card I have colored my image with Copics and used Ultra Fine Flower Soft and my pearl pen on Dad's hat and I have used my Glitter Liner in the water.  Once again I called upon my Basic Grey June Bug DP and used some wooden buttons that I got from Sweetwater.  My sentiment is a rub-on from MSE.

I hope you will join us this week at Phindy's Place and show us your masculine side!!!  Make sure you check out what the rest of the DT has done with this challenge.  Really lets me know that my masculine skills are not up to par!!!  :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a good one!!!

Here' my card based on this sketch using one of The Digi Shack images which by the way are only $1 for the biggest majority of them.............
This image is just perfect for my son beings he is a golfing fool!!!  The image is colored with Copics and I have used some BG Junebug DP.  This is one of the simplest cards I have ever done and I'm having a really hard time liking it for some reason!!  Toni told me that I'm my own worst critic!!  Sheesh!!!

I hope that you will join us for our challenge this week and if you don't have a Digi Shack image.....we do offer some freebies here but then with most of them only being $1, why not get the one you want!!!

Tiddly Inks Tuesday

Hey everyone!!  Yep....it's time for a new Tiddly Inks challenge and this one just about kicked my butt!!!!  Our challenge this week is to use no DP and to create your own with digis or stamps.  OMG, I can't tell you how hard it was for me to think outside my little box!

Here's my card using the Tiddly Inks digi "Always The Flower Girl".........
Isn't this just a fabulous image!?!  I have used one of my stamp sets from 3 Scrappy Boys stamp club to create the swirls on the card and then I have used my Viva glitter liner and pearl pen and also some yellow Stickles to add bling to the flourish.  I have used flower Soft on her flowers.  Have you had a chance to use the new ultra fine Flower Soft yet?  OMG....fabulous stuff!!  My girl is colored with Copics and I have used Prismas on the grass.  The image and frame are cut with my nesties and the sentiment is from MSE.  The card looks kinda plain in the picture but IRL it looks pretty cool!!!

I hope you will join us on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog for our challenge because I'm dying to see what other people come up with.  I'm sure the rest of the DT has some awesome stuff for you to feast your eyes on!!

Thank you for stopping by today and hope to see you at Tiddly Inks!!!!

Christmas At Phindy's Place

WooHoo...it's time for a new challenge over at Phindy's Place and this week we are going to challenge you to do Christmas in Spring!!!  At first I was thinking, WHAT!?!  But then I remembered that I had ordered this image last year and never did get to use it so that kinda got my mojo flowing a little bit.

Here's my card using Phindy's Deck The Halls image......
I just love this image.  For this card I have colored with my Copics of course and I have also used the new Viva glitter liner.  Wow...I love that thing!!!  I seem to have gotten into distressing this week!  :)  I even just ordered me a new Distrezzer although for this card I just used my scissors!!  Can't wait for it to get here.  I have also used distress ink and my new Viva Pearl pen.  My DP is from Websters Pages and I have made my flower with lace and a pearl brad and then used my MS punch for the branch.  I really love how it turned out!!!

I hope that you will join us at Phindy's Place this week and show us your Christmas Spirit!!!  :)  Make sure you check out what the rest of this fabulous DT has done too!!  WOW WOW WOW!

The Digi Shack Sketch Challenge

Yep...it's Wednesday already and that means it's time for a new sketch challenge at The Digi Shack.  We have this awesome sketch for you to play with this week.
I must admit that I really had a hard time with this sketch and I don't know why.  Nothing looked right that I did and then I decided to flip it and viola....a look that I liked!!  :)  Here's what I came up with for this sketch.
I have used the Hibiscus Bud image from The Digi Shack and I just love it.  I can think of a million cards to use this image with.  I love flowers!!!  :)  For this card I have used Kaiser Craft paper and OH.....I so love the colors in this paper pad!!!  I have also used one of the tags and the border that were included in the pad.  My image is colored with Copics of course and I then I fussy cut it.  So, what do you think!?!

I hope you will pop on over to the challenge blog (it has a fun new look) and see what the rest of the DT has done with this sketch and I also hope that you will join us.  You can use any image that you would like to but you can always get freebies to play with HERE or with the biggest majority of the images only being $1, why not pick your favorite!!!

A Tiddly Inks Buggy Blog Hop

Hey everyone!!  Welcome to the first ever Tiddly Inks Buggy Blog Hop!!  If you are arriving to my blog from Lysa's FABULOUS blog then you are on the right track!!  If you have just happened upon my blog then you will want to head back to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and start from the beginning!!  There will be a chance for prizes so make sure you leave a comment on every single blog!!  Should be lots of fun and and some awesome inspiration using the Tiddly Inks Buggs!!!  You will have until Sunday May 9th at 6:00PM CST to complete the hop.

Here's the card that I have created using Joy Bugg.  So many cute little buggs to be had and I love every single one of them!!!
Oh....I had so much fun with this adorable image!!  Don't you just love her!?!  She has so many uses and I love that in an image!!  She is colored with Copics of course and I have used Prismas and OMS to do the background.  For the grass I just used my Prismas and my Prisma blender pencil.  I wanted more definition in the grass so really didn't want to blend it out.  I'm happy with how it turned out but definitely need some more practice with Prismas. :)  I have also used Stickles glitter glue on her wings, dress, hat and the centers of the flowers.  My DP is Basic Grey Junebug (it fit into the buggy theme!!) and  more flowers from my dear sweet friend Annika!!  It's really hard to see the center of the flower but it's one of those flower jewel things (technical description huh!?!) and I have added a small pearl in the center of that.  I have also used  Distress ink and Smooch Illuminate (LOVE that stuff).  My Bella Baubles are colored with my Copics to match everything and have also used a MS punch and a nestie to cut out the frame.  Sentiment is from MSE.

Your next stop will be Ria's breathtaking blog.  I'm sure she has some AWESOME eye candy for you!!

Have fun hopping on the first ever Tiddly Inks blog hop and thanks for stopping by!!!

Have a good one!!!

Well...while I have you here anyway I'm going to show you another Phindy image from her sweet & salty line  that I think is my absolute favorite!!  Her name is "Lulu Shopping".  I had so much fun with this image and after I had her colored I was searching for the perfect DP and guess what came in the mail today!?!  My order from SCACD and in this order was my new Basic Grey Kioshi paper.  With my breath held I put my image up next to it and was like OMG....PERFECT MATCH!!!!

Here's my card and yes...she fits in the flower challenge too!!  :)
Isnt' she stunning!?!  This card has a little bit of a vintage feel to it which I absolutely LOVE!!  She has been colored with Copics and Spicas.  I also got to play with my new Pearl Pen and Smooch Illuminate.  DANG...awesome stuff and Susana has AWESOME customer service to top off great products.  She's almost OCD about having orders that haven't been shipped so she's really fast and is a wonderfully sweet person!!!

A Michelle Perkett Studio Mother's Day

Hi everyone!!  Today I created this card for my Mom for the Michelle Perkett Studio Challenge Blog.  The challenge this week was dedicated to Mom's.  I have been searching for the perfect image to use for my Mom's Mother's Day card and when Michelle posted this one.....I knew that it was the one I had been searching for!!!!  You can find this FABULOUS image and lots more at Michelle's Etsy store.

Here's my card................
Isn't this image wonderful!?!  The image has been colored with Copics and I have used flower soft on the Mom's dress and Stickles on both dresses.  It's actually very pretty IRL!!  My DP is Junebug from BG and I have used some Kaiser pearls along with some flowers that were given to me by my AWESOME online friends Annika and Cole!!! :)  They are helping feed my flower addiction!  I created the sentiment on the computer and cut it out with my nesties.  The ribbon is from Offray.  The background is colored with Prismas and OMS.

I hope you will join in on the Mother's Day challenge at Michelle Perkett Studio and remember....you must use one of Michelle Perkett's images.

I have also use this awesome sketch from the Create4Fun Challenge blog........

Tiddly Tuesday With Fabric

Hey everyone!!  WOW...I can't believe that it's Tuesday again already.  It is time for a new challenge at the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this weeks challenge is to use a Tiddly Inks image (which btw, Christy has just uploaded a bunch of new images) and also to use fabric on your card!!  Eek.....is there anyone else out there that has no fabric!?!  I ended up talking my DIL into letting me cut up an old shirt of her little girl.  We kinda turned it into a belly shirt!!  :)

Okay, here's the card that I created for this challenge...............
Okay....I'm not overly thrilled with this card.  I do love this image though!!  This is one of my favorite images and she is called Spring HuggABugg.  The image is colored with Copics and I have also used Stickles on her wings.  I have used Hodge Podge to coat the flower so that I could glue my fabric down.  I have also used MS punches and the sentiment is from MSE.  The DP is from BoBunny and I have used floss from Making Memories for the stem of her flower.  I hope you enjoy my card.
